What RPM does the engine pull at wide open, trimmed out? Ever think of going to a stainless? I have a 14x9 small ear stainless prop, works great on a light weight boat, can try before you buy.

20+ means wreckless op. This is 4 points I believe. I would plead not guilty and get it down to possibly just speeding and court costs. Wreckless op will kill you on insurance. Only if you were cited for it at the time of the incident. Often times you will not get the wreckless charge unless you are 35 over or weaving in traffic at 20+. Just my experience.

If Amsoil engine oil is as good as their gear lube, you can keep it. As for filters, my experience shows Wix to hold up the best, and Fram being the worse. Nothing like a filter coming apart internally and completley trashing an engine (valve covers were about all that was salvagable).

Scale A or Scale C? Does not say in or out of gear, if auto can drop idle speed 100 or so rpm. Ambient noise? Are their meters calibrated?

There is a difference between marine and automotive wire. Also, I am almost positive that one place we order parts from has a stater for the 3.0 that has the relay and solenoid built in. I want to say it was around $175, which is a pretty good price for a marine starter. Also, did you ever get a chance to measure the voltage going into the coil (purple wire) with the engine running?

How old are the battery cables? Still original? If so, replace with the Ancor marine 2 gauge, with the good ends, don't waste your time with the cheap lead bolt together ends. Cables corrode a lot faster on a boat than a car. You are using a marine starter right? Where did you buy it from?

Paying under 1 dollar for a DVD quality copy of something not out yet < paying 3 for something better than VHS. If you only paid 3 each, you didnt come out too bad, especially if they weren't the movie theater cam corder versions....

Any NY fakes (dvd, watches, bags) are pretty low quality and more expensive than elsewhere.
