10+G's of shock, in a boat. Reg batteries normally last a summer or two at max. I have ran optimas for 3 years now no problems. Like you said, in a car there really isnt much of a difference, and they aren't worth the money. Go to Batteries Plus, for their $50 battery you cant go wrong.

The optimas hold up better to shock. Batteries Plus Werker batteries seem to kick ass for 50 bucks.

Changes it a lot, I have no idea on how the laws are for state to state transport. If I had to guess, it depends on what state you are going to. I know for a fact that it is illegal to transport more than 7 cases of beer (per person over 21 in the vehicle) from Ohio to Ky. Brings up the old bootlegging laws.

Through customs you are only allowed 2 litres duty free. And they will enforce this coming back from Nassau.

Either a dedicated shop washer/dryer or laundromat is a must! I wash everything 2 or 3 times, wiping out all the grease I can every time it stops, use a thing of detergent and some jax wax orange citrus.

Keep hearing about the "record high money market accounts." Thinking of putting some money into them, hear around 5%. Now, I know 0 about any of this. Always liked keeping cash in a safe, and out of the banks. What questions do I need to ask? Any right amount of time? Don't see myself needing the amount I will put into it for a while. If I get a 1 year account, I can't touch it for a year basically right? Will I lock in the 5% rate? What if rates go up or down?

+1 for aircraft stripper. I buy it in gallons at Segels on Sinclair (I think thats the road). Don't let it get on your skin, and don't wear latex gloves, it eats right through. Go to Harbor freight and buy a box of cheap paint brushes, and kroger for the cheap throw away turkey pans.
