Never heard of ANYONE getting shot in the face, nor a crime ring that goes around looking for out of state tags. I live in Moundsville 10miles south of Wheeling and work in Wheeling and my father works in Bridgeport, OH. If you have a bad connection at the battery terminals it'll cause shit like this. My camaro shut itself off 3 times before we found out the positive cable shit itself and the battery was toasted.

Wifes 06 Malibu didn't have fobs but I got some from eBay and no matter which method I used to try and program them I had to end up taking it to the stealership to get them mated together, something about the newer cars don't have a "program mode" unless its accessed via the PCM.
