  1. Well I'm sorry I didn;t ask the fifty questions like I should have. That being said I figured he was a stand up guy. Most F-Body owners I have met have all been stand up people. I've only been screwed twice through the internet but both were computer parts. Next time I do a deal like this I'll make sure I ask the fifty questions I should have, but as I previously stated he seemed like a stand up guy, very polite and even after all was said and done he told me he'd give me a refund. The last part is the only thing he as a seller did not hold up other then the fact he said the wheels were cleanable. I have tried all the products and all kinds of methods to get these wheels clean, the dust/dirt/grime is BAKED into the clear coat. I havent taken it further as I didn;t want to damage the wheels. Why should I have to pay someone to clean these when the seller plainly stated that they were cleanable and why didn;t he just state "These will need professionally cleaned" in his fs post? He didn't thats why I'm angry I was lied to not once but twice. I'm not really looking for a refund at this point as I think I'll never see the money. I'm just letting everyone know my expierience and Anthony told me this was the place on the forum to do so, I've already left him bad feedback so as my original post stated BUYER BEWARE for this seller. If anyone wants to bash me any further I'd appreciate if you would just send me a PM and we can have it out there. I'm not out to make trouble I've been here long enough to see what happens when people do. I'm just an angry buyer telling everyone else about what happened when I purchased from this seller.

  2. TE7two, I drove to Clumbus from WVA to get the wheels, I'm sorry I didn't have my own hose and cleaners available as I was promised they would clean up. I was CLEARLY told that I would get a refund, what you don't understand here is that I am LOSING $120ish in gas just driving over there to get my measely $3xx. So pelase before you go bashing or saying I'm an idiot you need to do a little bit of research. I'm very sorry I had to make this thread, the point of it was that a man told me I would be getting a refund then dodged me. Bottom line is people who dno;t hold there word suck, Anthony is very aware of the situation I don't have to provide pictures to anyone, I was promised something and then dodged when it came time to deliver. I'm not bashing anyone I just wanted my money back that I was promised plain and simple I don;t want my gas back that I wasted just the money for the product.
  3. sucks sorry dude. hate to hear someone gettin burned

I've been trading/selling pc parts, car parts, hell anything I have on the internet for years. My ebay rating and Heatware ratings are both perfect. I just hate dishonest people that #1 Don't Hold Their Word and #2 Lie about the product.

  4. I waited a long time to post this as I was a nice guy and gave the guy a chance to contact me over the past month. I purchased a set of CLEANABLE SS 10 spoke rims from in the begginning of Feb. iirc, after getting them home they were not cleanable. I have tried all the products suggested as well as quite a few others. They will not clean. After contacting him about getting my money back he said he would, and to just call him sometime next week. Well next week went by and he stopped answering the phone. I called him once a week if not two or three times about meeting up and getting a refund, left a message everytime. Not once did he respond or answer. Well I figured since I'm on vacation from work this week I would give him a ring to get this straightened out so I didn't have to post something like this...the phone number you have dialed has been disconnected. So after all this I'm out money, I have crap ass wheels, and this guy is just a dead beat. If anyone has contact with him or knows how to contact him please let me know as I still want my money back.. people who do not hold there word suck.

Zane if you've read this please call me so we can resolve this.

Sorry for the long post, I just figured I'd post this as accurately as I could for anyone that cares to read it.

  5. why not just buy those blackout covers?

    thats what i have

As I already covered, the LS1 tail lights melt lenses with blackouts on. I had a set and after about 2 days this past month the lenses were melted....If you don't believe me do a search on LS1Tech.com about Blackouts/Melting, and you'll see.

  6. Your best bet is going to be to hit Thirdgen.org and goto the EPROM section. There all going to tell you the samething, get the stuff and burn one yourself. When my GTA needed one it was by far cheaper to get the stuff and do it myself then it was to have someone sit down and go through it and burn a chip. In the end you'll be able to do it, and the software that is used to do it isn;t as hard as some people lead it on to be. Just my .02$

Is there anyone around here that is good at tuning TPI Engines?

I got an 88 Formula that is pretty built up:

Its a 350 punched .030 over with forged pistons and about 10.5:1 compression. It has a Comp Cam 270HR roller cam and Aluminum Edelbrock Performer heads with Crane full roller rockers. The factory TPI has been replaced with Edelbrock parts and it has SVO injectors. It has Hooker headers with a custom Y-pipe and new Flowmaster muffler. I had a chip custom burnt for it last fall, but I just know its not to where it needs to be. I am in the process of swapping out the plugs on it, but it is pretty hard to start and doesnt like to idle in gear. The engine was all professionally done and really only has about 50 miles. All the work and those miles were put on it about 3 years ago. I wouldnt trust the dealer to touch this and know there are lots of LS1 tuners on here, but does anyone do or is anyone familiar with the good old TPI Engine. I know years ago I used to get most of my work done at the Corvette place on Ferris, but not even sure how good they would be with it now that it is such old technology...

Anybody out there really good with these?

    Thanks in advance...

    Tom

  7. If you're in Dayton, Chad, I can get them for Casey on Saturday since I'll be in the area.

I havent been in Dayton since I helped James move last month. The tires are located in Wheeling, WV. Unfortunately the next time I'll be in Columbus is Drag Day unless you wanna pay gas for me to bring them to ya, I was gunna let them go for $20 if anyone wants to come and get them, I got them with those shitty SS wheels I got off a member on here and am trying to recoup a lil of the money I got F'ed over on. Lemme kno either way.

  8. I am hoping someone has them used - I do not get it on the track enough to buy new!

I have some I got with my botched SS rims, the tread looks liek enough for a track day or 2 nittos in 275/40/17 you can have them cheap if you want'em Casey heh PM me or gimme a ring. I'll pm you details.

  9. its not illegal just not smart.

In states that have inspections, it's illegal to remove any safety equipment. Here in WV if I took my steering wheel out and put one in without an airbag I'd get redflagged and it wouldn't pass inspection.
