  1. Well, I do hope you ordered the right parts. SA 1911's are not normally plug and play guns. You will either know how to fit or pay a gun smith to do it.
  2. I am actually leaning towards a 4.7 Overland at the moment. I really like the 5.9 performance, but perfer the 99+ styling. Vinny, when you mentioned the 4.7 with 4.10 gears, were you referring to overall performance or just when towing? I bet it would really move with the 4.10s behind it. I see there are some issues out there with thr 4.7 in general. Any years better than others?
  3. This has opened a whole other tangent. I am not at all opposed to diesel. I confess I do not know much of the Ford truck line up either. I have always been a "car" guy with the exception of a few SUVs over the years.
  4. I feel the same. He isn't in that business for the right reasons, purely for profit. I can say the same thing for a few places I have worked at though.
  5. I doubt they would stock one, when I was there we sold maybe four a year. And that was with me suggesting people buy them. You might have better luck with Ohio Valley or something.
  6. I will rarely if ever do towing I would just need the bed for hauling. Don't want to give up 4wd, so I don't want 2wd. The extended cab or 4 door would be needed for certain. Reliability would be my paramount concern and it would be a DD that would see anywhere from 20-60 miles per day on average.
  7. Thanks posting up! I forgot to days ago.
  8. I've read through a bit online, but I guess I still don't quite get the break down. I guess I could join a forum, but thought I would see if someone on here would be so kind to help out. I'd ask Scotty, but we know how long that would take. In my quest for my next DD, I am between a JGC or a Ram truck. Anyone know what year Scotty's is? I am probably interested in 4wd crew cab models between 00 and 05. Thanks in advance!!
  9. I really only would want an S4 in the german realm right now. I really want a 4wd pickup or awd suv right now.
  10. WOW sent me a letter just like that. I call them and they tell me they don't do my area and I will get a letter when they can. I told them, "I am holding that letter". They didn't know what to say, but assured me in the future they will. I thought they were fools, too but I didn't want any TWC, either.
  11. Wonderful... Government mandated maintenance and safety checks are not what we need to worry more tax dollars with at this point.
  12. I agree with the rest at this point. If you've got access to all those tools, why not put them to work. If it's something you love and you can enjoy the money out of it, too I'd say go for it 100%. Might be slow at first, but as you get a reputation and or referrals you will probably have to turn work away. Just make sure you don't burn out on it and you should be good to go. I always believe in supporting local business if it's within reason and I like the person and/or concept. You'll always have broken vehicles or ones that need maintenance so why not fill the need if you love it so much?
  13. My father used to have several of the JGC Overland models. They are nice and never gave him many issues. He maintains a vehicle very well, but he drives many miles and isn't the nicest to them so I know the reliability is there.
  14. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/1607245248.html It's the color I like, too. I think he's dreaming on price, though.
  15. Nevermind, it's listed...
  16. Jason, you might want to talk to Annie as she was looking to buy a new laptop/netbook.
  17. Yeah, I'm looking for a DD, not a asphalt scorching beast. It is good info, though. As much as I love forced induction I always respected the Typhoons.
  18. Thanks for the info th us far. I am leaning more towards the jeep as I don't quite need the extra space or weight of the Durango. Not a huge Chrysler fan myself, but the vehicle seems to fit the needs better than anything else I can think of. I was considering a newer 4.7, but figured the older would be cheaper to insure in my case. I will investigate mpg 5.9 vs 4.7 and probably make a decision from there. I don't need the srt8 at all for any reason, but they are super nice.
  19. That's nice! Thanks again!
  20. What are your thoughts? I am considering getting one of the other and just wondered if anyone had driven/owed either or both. I will most likely use it as a DD.
  21. My cousin had the same misfortune and pulled through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours, sir!
  22. Thanks! I had one that Ronnie Bianco did and one I did. I think the picture above is the one I did. Can't remember as it's an old pic without serial number and they were both setup identically. The work on your's looks more presentational, I was just going for functionality and practicality.
  23. Order it and wait. Glock only make 10mm production molds once or twice a year.

    Suck it HTC

Isn't this like when Apple attempted to sue Dell because their OS could run on Dell's hardware? I think Apple is quite litigious.
