  1. It went pretty good. The weather was great, could have been alittle more sunny, but the temps were comfortable and their was no rain untill the way back to Cbus around 7-8 ish. D-rock got the hang of launching at the track, and got some pretty respectable times. I just had fun with the car in street trim wooping on mustang cobras (pre SVT) and out trapping STIs smile.gif The car is where I want it to be, just quick enough to hang with the new generation of speed.
  2. John, Just so happens there is a yellow & black Evo pair in Columbus Tuning. They met with us friday night when we went on the voyage to nowhere. At first they moved their homies car so they could park next to each other...I thought they were a couple at first...but then they got out, and were both guys. They still could be a couple though..I guess Also, when people see an E.T and don't consider trap...you get people who beleive their car is faster from a roll...hence you get this "oh my car ran a 12.9 @ 104, while you have guys that run 13.xx @ 120 some...cough, cough. E.T is about getting outa the hole, hard and fast. Just the way your mother likes it, TRE-BECK
  3. If you feel like racing at a shithole, sure. I guess racing at shithole > not racing at all.
  4. How about get a book, set up some dummy boxes, and study? This how I obtained my MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, A+, Net+ and linux+. Never went to any sort of 5k bootcamp. Good god. Computers are a set of rules, not a set of math equations...
  5. not completely, but getting there... Now if you drive a 1.5 VEX, or a new VW, then reading your stock O2, ain't so worthless smile.gif
  6. Chris, Do you go to DeVry? I saw a red TT like yours that had something resembling your front mount. Just curious. Looks nice be the way smile.gif
  7. Hey hey, I'm looking into building about a 2 foot deep, 5 feet long work bench. It's mostly going to be used for soldiering, building and homework smile.gif . Any have any ideas of what I should top the wood with? Any building ideas would be great..
  8. I'll be out tonight. Any LS1's up for a race? smile.gif
  9. before you touch the car let's scan it... The 3.4 pulley may require some additional modifications, good things to look for are a used set of 1.9 rockers, you can get the first generation for about 200 some odd dollars, they really raise the curve, so racing after 50 isn't a nightmare. The 180 T-stat is a good idea, it lowers temps alot and fights the car's will to pull timing. Not to much effect on the gas mileage. I'm not a fan of the SLP cold air box, but, for what it is, I guess its OK. HTH, Nate smile.gif
  10. Andy, Are you familiar with BPG, Active Autoworke, or Imported Cars? They all have S50s, S14s, Big 6's that produce well over 500hp. Just cuirious smile.gif
