  1. Looked really good from the previews. Wonder what other video games are going to turn movie. Nate
  2. He's an interesting host. I don't think he can escape laying that bike down and the Halkamaniac that insued afterwords. Defintely be there to help/cheer on the Columbus folk. Be funny to get some of the Cleveland/Akron guys down there - settle everything on national TV..ha
  3. I'm partly retarded from being vaccinated - is there a date posted for when the race day is?
  4. Defintely will be there, should be a huge CR event!
  5. I think that's the basis of his argument. Simply less energy. With chassis like the F-Body or even Corvette, real estate is very tight. Granted on large displacement/low boost engines the system wouldn't be that bad of a compromise (life is made up of compromises). Keeping heat out of an engine bay not designed for a turbocharged engine is also a valid concern. The turbo M3's have a severe problem with underhood temperatures when road racing for decent periods. Given how it's pretty easy to put a reasonably sized turbo (or two) in the engine bay of most vehicles and the availability of off the shelf manifolds makes it seem like a no brainer decision to go with the "technically advantageous" solution of putting the turbo as close as possible to the head IMO. Nate
  6. I don't think the motives were insecurity, he simply broke the STS FAQ down line by line to show it had more holes than swiss cheese. The responses are short and to the point. He's the not the most polished applee when it comes to conveying information on a public forum, but there have been much worse on here. Nate
  7. Mike, Sorry to hear! The taco will be missed, Nate
  8. Chris --Like Phil(Mallard) said, don't take things so seriously here. You arent infront of a research board or some overpaid mananger - you're on a public forum. You suond like a huge dick on some of these posts, what goes around tends to come around.
  9. I'll gladly make the voyage back for this... inb4clarksayssomethinggay
  10. You know I got love for you Thanks for the replies firefighters!
  11. http://www.jamphat.com/rap/ funny
  12. Interesting, is it based off a 5 or 7 day week? Brain is function as well as Adam's Fbody - on snap.
  13. I knew this thread would have atleast one homosexual reference. I don't think you could see the six pack through my fur coat (that is, if it ever develops) I just think it would be someting more constructive then putting someone in the sights and pulling the trigger.
  14. Thanks Rob. I assume you work two 24s back to back? I'm a bit confused: 13 days in off time, for a 52 week year? Can you expand on that? Thanks again
  15. Hi Vince, Mainly what is the best path to take to become one? Options regarding volunteer/wildlife paths? Any words of wisdom? Thanks
  16. Thanks for the responses gents, What does your shift rotation look like? Regarding the requirements; besides a civil service test - are those that have been listed more vocational or college courses? I've been training for FBI/CIA physical requirements with moderate success, so I'm not to worried on the physical aspects. I'm curious on the pre-reqs, I can't seem to find any information on said things or the recruit training. Thanks
  17. Hi Folks: Just wondering if there are any firefighters on here. Have a few questions on requirements/eligibility Thanks
  18. Nice choice on parts for the build. The GT45 wont be stressed until 1000+ crank.
  19. Wow! I wonder how long it takes to perfect the flexability for those stretches...
  20. I'm usually not much on smaller dogs, but he looks like a fun little guy I don't have any name suggestions, but congratulations on getting him/her!
  21. Don't take this as slam on the car, but that horsepower/tq driving 2 tons dosen't add up to a 129mph trap. Maybe he upped the shot?
  22. I'm sure the blower could make that pressure in the manifold (ASSuming, stock cam, heads, exhaust) but it definetly won't make additional power with such an increase in air temp & drive loss.
