  1. I can't blame him. Like he said, its a business.
  2. Gen 3? Unfired? I'll take it.
  3. They carry a bunch of diseases, but you're welcome to eat them.
  4. Yea, I've heard the new OTA update that Sprint sent out has bricked a lot of phones.

  6. I thought I heard that they cancelled the SCAR. Aleast for the military.
  7. Does he look like he'd be a good fighter? I could take him if you think he could be a trained killer.
  8. Pit? Shoot it. j/k. Good job on looking after him.
  9. My new Droid:I = Pandora. Now I just gotta figure out how to get it hooked into my factory headunit.
  10. Shot with the 5.7 using factory FN ammo. I'll be loading up some of my own 5.7 rounds and shipping out to my dad to try out. I'd like to see what some BVGs would do out of one. http://i49.tinypic.com/552vt1.jpg
  11. I take what I can get. Shoots good, but it feels like a complete piece of shit. The trigger pull sucks as well. Feels like some of the cap guns I had as a kid. I'm not impressed in the least.
  12. Coyote hunting tomorrow AM. Pig and coyote hunting at night in Texas. More to come.
  13. Day 2 was a bust. Called a few times in the morning and got no response whatsoever. I was worn out on rabbits from the previous day, so I called it a day. Day 3 was better: First yote I've ever called in on my own. http://i48.tinypic.com/sfl069.jpg Sunk a 40gr. V-Max in his ass. http://i47.tinypic.com/o60cna.jpg Puppah just playin' http://i48.tinypic.com/11llaty.jpg Called in a 2nd coyote on my 2nd stand that morning (). Had him in my sights, barked at him to stop him, but it didn't come out as a realistic bark and he knew it. He bolted away from me. Unfortunately I had the magnification cranked all the way up on my Redfield, and had a hard time trying to find him while he was running. I lit off a round in his direction, but missed, which didn't surprise me. Went to send another round in his direction, but all I got was a 'click'. Again, another fuck-up on my part. Just before my 2nd stand, I dropped the mag to see what rounds I had loaded up. Put it back in, but didn't get it fully seated, and it failed to strip the next round. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Tap. Rack. Bang. But he was too far into the brush to get off an effective shot. 3 more stands that morning, but no luck. It was starting to heat up and they disappear when it gets hot here. Went home. Went back out a few hours later (when it was like 100* out), and tried 2 more stands. Again, no luck. So, I drove around for about 15 minutes looking for rabbits. They disappear as well when it heats up. However, I did find an unsuspecting one about 30ft. away from the truck with his back to me. Quietly opened the door and lit him up. These V-Maxs impress me just as much as BVGs, I'd say. http://i47.tinypic.com/2d6nkgz.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/keji21.jpg
  14. BVG (starting to like these things...) http://i50.tinypic.com/2uqkt9e.jpg

  16. Kill count for today is 9. This one was resilient. Hit him the first time in the ribs ~100yd. He fell over, so I started to get back in the truck. I looked at him again, and he had somehow managed to get back up, and start running away. So I put another straight up his ass. http://i50.tinypic.com/261yzh5.jpg Spotted this little tender guy a little while later about 20ft off the road. North american antelope/speed goat. http://i48.tinypic.com/sfxkl4.jpg He ran away when I tried to pet him. http://i45.tinypic.com/mrwns5.jpg More to come.
  17. Got into the field @ 0500 for our first coyote stand of the day. http://i46.tinypic.com/2mq9err.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/11tvkbc.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/25tx3cz.jpg Made one stand here, and 2 more at other locations. My father did the calling, and I was to do the shooting. Unfortunately, though, we didn't see a single coyote all day. We did, however, see one about 30ft off the road last night as we were going to the range. I started to shoot it with the 5.7, but it was a little too close to civilization for my comfort, so I let him walk. We spent the rest of the day driving around for other varmints. First jackrabbit of the day was seen about ~350yd off, down in a valley, as we were leaving our last coyote stand. The farthest I had shot the AR at that point was 200yd. I grabbed some shooting sticks and took up aim while standing. I figured the bullet would drop 6-12" at that distance, so I held a bit over his body. The wind was also blowing about 10mph from my right, so I held right about a foot. Lit one off, and it just skimmed over the top of his back, but my SWAG windage was spot on. At that point, he ran about 10 feet and stopped. What luck. I readjusted my hold over, kept the same windage hold, and lit off another. He flew about 2ft in the air, and landed with a flop; dead. Not too bad, IMO, for a 16" bbl slinging a 36gr. BVG. http://i50.tinypic.com/wtbn8h.jpg
