  1. Not to mention, Baja spectators are notorious for setting booby-traps (think wicked speed bumps @ 100+mph) for the racers, just to see the crashes. Screw the spectators. That's their own damn fault.
  2. Only the receiver is considered the firearm. You're good.
  3. Won't make much of a difference if its broke (and the equipment usally is), except for documentation purposes, if you rented it from a satellite location. Most of those people are just there to rent the equipment, not fix it. If it's broke, then they have to call U-haul's service dept. to send some dumbshit out (2 hours later...while the customer waits) there to attempt to fix it (he's stupid, so he won't). We were a satellite location for U-haul (rented Heavy equipment, and the occasional U-haul) and the equipment constantly had shit wrong with it. I usually just fixed it myself because: 1. it was quicker. 2. I wanted the stupid customers (most U-haul customers fit a certain profile) out of my lot as soon as possible, and 3. I got tired of the U-haul 'mechanics' asking to borrow my tools, or asking how to fix something. Go find a Budget. /rant
  4. 29.95/day for a dolly if you do a round trip 49.95/day for an auto transport (trailer) for a round trip One way prices depend on where you're going The U-Haul computer system is also quite fucked up. I hated that son of a bitch when I worked at my old job and had to rent them. Uhaul requires all of the customers info up front before it'll give a price because they, for some reason, think that if the customer goes ahead and gives all their info, that they will be more likely to go ahead and rent it. All it really does is piss off the customer who just wants a simple fucking price, and pisses off the employees who have to constantly go through that horse shit. Uhaul management is dumb as all fuck.
  5. Because you own a gun, and that automatically makes you a criminal in the sheeps' eyes.
  6. Any idea if there are any shops that specialize in this stuff around Columbus? I'm looking to pick up a couple IR cams, some wire, maybe some wireless transmitters/receivers, along with some other stuff for a little project I'm working on. I'd like to find someplace that has a store front so I can go look at the stuff in person. You can buy it everywhere online, but most of the online stores look shady.
  7. What engine are they getting? I'm seriously considering getting rid of my Colorado for a new Jeep and I'm torn between getting a loaded 2011 4x4, or waiting for the 2012 SRT8.
  8. Gun shows in central Ohio are a waste of time, IMO.
  9. Probably 3-4 years. I was more of a bath kind of kid. Bubbles and ducks and shit.
  10. Until they cause you to shoot yourself in the leg........which they are known for.
  11. Speaking of bears... This thread inspired me to fire up my RockChucker and load up some of the new boolits I got. 275gr. Barnes XPB solid copper HP 2,200fps/3,000ft/lb. of 1/2" goodness. These haven't been crimped yet. http://i32.tinypic.com/weg2.jpg That's a .22short in the HP cavity... http://i25.tinypic.com/2lktu79.jpg http://i29.tinypic.com/291okra.jpg carry on.
  12. Is this game worth it if I don't have an internet connection that can support multiplayer?
  13. I don't think anyone is saying that. But it's not stopping any criminals either. But, I'd also argue that ammunition is considered 'arms', and as such, falls under 2A protection. Who wants to start a black market ammo smuggling operation along the Cali/Nevada border with me? Anyone?
  14. "Discharging or other use of a firearm for any reason is illegal." I doubt that would hold up in court. Federal law states that you can now legally carry a weapon in national parks..............for a reason. Not just because you think it looks cool, but because you feel that you might have to use it. Cali isn't known for playing by the rules and would most likely get bitch-slapped in court if they tried pulling that horseshit. If I need to shoot a bear, I'm shooting it, regardless of what the hippies say.
  15. It's a shame. It's such a beautiful state, but unfortunately, the hippies have overrun it.
