Swarm of bees at my parents house (Pics inside)
RedRocket1647545505 replied to oh8sti's topic in Dumpster
I thought they found a possible answer to this mystery a few months back. Apparently, there is some sort of fly that's been laying it's eggs in the bees, and when the larvae hatch, it kills the bee and then they eat it all up; destroying the evidence. -

I realize that, but then again, I've never shot it at paper because I simply never cared. It hits trees, TVs, and laptop computers with authority, though. :masturboy:
-
I never did figure out if it had the barrel issue as I never shot it for groups or anything. I know it's not very accurate and if i had to do it again, I would have bought an Interarms build, or better yet, a regular AK-74 parts kit and built it myself. I just bought mine to make holes in shit, which it does great at, and it's CHEAP. :masturboy:

Probably won't be happening. I know you want it.

I know someone wants a quality AK

Price drop to $1,200

OK, so it's not an AK-74 exactly, but they are close. Up for sale is another gun that I never use. It's a Polish Tantal (5.45x39) built by Century Arms. It's a great gun for general plinking and destroying shit. Don't expect any accuracy out of them, because you won't get it. -Bought about 3 years ago -Approx. 3-400rd. through it -Side-folding stock -minor surface rust (the finish on these things SUCKS). -It's not accurate at all -Ammo is dirt cheap and usually corrosive. It's like $0.11-0.12/rd. -I'll throw in the remaining ammo I have for it. I'd estimate it to be around 75-100rd. -I'm pretty sure I have 3 mags for it. I'll have to look -AK-74 mags will work in it. Pictures to follow. $350

I just threw the 2 sun shades that it comes with on it for the pics.

Can someone tell me what I'm watching here? I'm having a hard time seeing what exactly is going on. The video's a little dark. Simmer down. You know I'm just fucking with you. -
But you can't shoot your truck.

Your single mission is to keep your ass safe and out of the frying pan, not to do the cops job for them. I agree, knowing his exact location would be best, but only as long as you can do that without putting yourself in the middle of it all We know Z was following him, thus provoking him. If he wasn't provoking him in some way, I seriously doubt any of this would have happened. M didn't randomly attack him for no reason. There's a lot of 'maybes' in there. He's well within his right to have a conversation with him; no denying that. But I'm having a hard time believing he was simply trying to have a polite conversation with him, given what we know. And again, let the police do their job. It's not your responsibility to save the community money or resources, or to save everyone's homes from break-ins, or anything else. Trying to do this ends up with a situation exactly like we've got right now. Again, you're reaching... Attempting to directly save someone's life is commendable. Playing pretend police officer, is not. Those are two totally different scenarios. No. You are not. Again, I'll use the example of calling someone a cocksucker (let's say, at this bar you speak of). You can't do that, and then turn your back and say, "Oh, I'm no longer involved..." It doesn't work like that. You have directly contributed to the escalation of the situation and are partially responsible. Again, if you were part of the escalation, then you are also responsible. I honestly can't put some arbitrary number on when a situation is over. I would say that if you are still in the presence of that person, then you are still, technically, in the same situation. But I assure you that by turning your back on this person, does not mean it's over. And these imaginary scenarios contribute nothing. You're throwing a lot of 'What-ifs' out there.

If he runs, it is not your responsibility to chase after him. It is much better to just let him go, than to put yourself into Zimmerman's clusterfuck of a situation. If he gets away, then so be it. And the fact remains he should not have been following, and thus instigating, from the beginning. It's their job. It's also not Zimmerman's job to 'have a conversation' with Martin. You can have a civic duty to protect your neighbors all you want, but it would behoove you to do it without putting your ass on the line. Let the police put their ass on the line. That's what they signed up for. You're reaching here... He didn't disengage shit. He started the whole god damn fiasco. Turning around and walking away doesn't wipe the slate clean. The whole thing was started because of Zimmerman being an overzealous watch dog. And I'm not defending Martin by any means (I think they're both guilty of something), but he didn't put himself in that situation. Running away from a stranger is a perfectly legal and logical thing to do.
-
Just because he has a right to be there and wasn't doing anything illegal, does not mean that he didn't instigate the situation. As I said before, this has nothing to do with Stand Your Ground. You have the right to stand your ground, not chase after it. Thank you. Ever heard the saying, 'be a good witness?' Observe and report. That's the best you can hope for while still keeping your ass out of the sling. It's not your duty to 'talk to them' Observe. Report. And let the police (it's the job...) handle it from there. I wouldn't put myself in that situation in the first place. I for damn sure wouldn't get out of the car. Calling someone a 'cocksucker' isn't against the law either, but if I do that, and it starts a fight, I no longer have the right to use lethal force. It all comes down to the fact that Zimmerman knowingly PUT HIMSELF in that situation. You can't, can't, can't do that and then use deadly force. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about that.

Does. Not. Matter.

I know somebody wants this.

Imagine that. Another double standard. Him and Jesse Jackson have done more harm to the black race than white folk have... :dumb: I agree with the rest, though. If Zimmerman had minded his own business, none of this would be happening. They give arrest powers to police only for a reason. Which is exactly while he'll hang. Whether he was getting his ass kicked by Martin or not, is moot. Once again, YOU CANNOT CLAIM SELF DEFENSE IF YOU GO LOOKING FOR TROUBLE AND FIND IT. It doesn't work like that. If trouble finds you, then you're OK. Completely forgot about that case, but I think this one will probably end up similar. I don't feel either party in this case is purely innocent. But I'm going to laugh my ass off if it turns out that little Trayvon isn't as sweet as the media is making him seem.

Not if it's an AR-10 lower. -
Well, dead people can't tell a story, but the 911 tapes can. And they tell us that Zimmerman was an aggressor in this case. My take on it: Zimmerman was an over-zealous CCW holder just begging for a chance to use it. He sounds as if he was constantly patrolling the neighborhood just looking for confrontation, as evidenced by his multiple calls to 911 over the past few weeks. He spots little Trayvon (who I also feel was not exactly 'innocent'), decides he 'looks suspect' and decides to pursue him. He calls 911 to tell them he's pursuing them, and they specifically tell him not to. CCW training clearly states you don't go looking for a fight, which is exactly what Zimmerman was doing while pursuing this kid. I also think Trayvon was probably not as sweet of a character as they always try to make this 'victims' out to be. As was said earlier, he most definitely could probably outrun Zimmerman, yet, he didn't. I would guess it's because he was a little too fond of confrontation himself. I could be wrong here. They said Zimmerman was bloodied, so I'm guessing the story proceeded something to this effect: -Zimmerman spots Trayvon (possibly doing something he shouldn't have) -Zimmerman, acting on his hero complex, chases after Trayvon -Trayvon takes off, but eventually decides to confront Zimmerman -They fight, and athletic Trayvon, ends up throwing Zimmerman a beating. -Zimmerman pulls his gun and caps Trayvon. Claims (incorrectly) self defense. Now, everyone keeps bringing up Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law as if it has anything to do with this case, which it doesn't. It's "Stand" your ground, not "Chase" your ground. When Zimmerman began to pursue Trayvon, his self defense alibi went right out the window. He went looking for a fight, and found one. Guilty, guilty, guilty. All day long, and it has absolutely nothing to do with CCW laws. This whole thing is turning into a huge race topic, and I'm not sure why. Again, the race card just loooooves to be thrown around, and to me, it's fucking stupid. Obama's gotten involved, which I think he should just keep his mouth shut. Al Sharpton has gotten involved and is just stirring the pot, as usual. He's about fucking worthless. Apparently, the Black Panthers are now involved. It's one huge clusterfuck. The police truely should have arrested Zimmerman based on the 911 tapes alone /End rant
