I'm confused. I unplugged the wireless card and plugged an ethernet cord right into the main board.

Highly illegal without the proper paperwork, even with a pistol grip. As has been said, 18" is as short as you can go. Buy an 18" barrel and be done with it.

Ok, I don't think it's a card issue. I ran a hardline to it and it still doesn't work. Gonna run my recovery disks through it tomorrow and see if that fixes it.

They gonna rerun the first season? I've never seen It.

If you insist on running a laser/light combo, I'd recommend a Streamlight TLR-2. I run a TLR-1 on my bedside guns and love it. Quality is A+ + +. Avoid NcStar like the plague. p.s. Lasers are gay.

Assigning OpenDNS addresses to the computer = no joy. Attempting to access wireless router via this computer = no joy. Computer still shows that it has a good connection.

ping http://www.cnn.com = could not find host Ping 198.6.1.2 = Destination host unreachable (x4), packets sent = 4, received = 4 Resetting everything has been tried multiple times. All other computers work, except my desktop.

Negative. Tried that. I got to thinking though. Would/could it be a DNS issue if it's only one computer having problems?

Yep, it's connecting. Already tried the ipconfig thing. No joy. I'm thinking DNS issues.

I'm having a bit of a problem with my desktop. The other day I was using it, messing around on CR, when the power suddenly went out. Computer shuts off, and I restart it. Now, I can't get the Internet to work. Reset modem, reset wireless router, restarted computer. Nothing. Neither FireFox nor IE will load anything, at all. Ran diagnostics on it and it shows nothing wrong. Other computers work just fine. I'm at a loss here. Any ideas??

Badgers are mean as fuck. My dad about got his ass kicked by one when we were hog hunting in Texas a couple years ago. He was about 20 yards away from one and shot it with his LR-308. Badger didn't take too kindly to that and took off after him. It was too close to shoot it on the run with the scope but he managed to hit it again about 5 feet before it got to him.

I would advise not messing with it yourself. Those springs will fuck you up with a quickness if you're not careful.

Just bought some of this stuff today. I finally washed and clay barred by truck (desperately needed) this morning. It's getting too hot out right now, but I plan on giving it another wash this evening when it cools down and going to work with this Black Box stuff. Will post pics of how it turns out.
