As long as the handguard you're looking at has a notch to slide around the FSB, you'll be fine. A quick Google of the Half Quad and it appears it would NOT work. I swung by Troy's website to take a look at what they offered (I love Troy products, BTW) and found the MRF 12" rail. It would work for what you're looking to do. And that is why I'll never recommend those types of holsters. Blackhawk Serpas are bad about those kind of accidents as well. I'm not quite sure why a holster needs 37 buttons pushed in sequence to get the gun out. A simple kydex or leather holster works just fine for retention. Do your part, and nobody should have the opportunity to get to your gun before you do. Oh, and this vid is a laugh in the face of folks who insist on a manual safety. I'm pretty sure I'll be leaving my Dinc for this. I love my Dinc, but can't wait to try this thing out. I'm stoked for Ice Cream Sammich and to see what it offers.. My only complaint is that I hear the main camera is 'only' 5M, which I think is kind of shitty considering the standard now appears to be 8M. Oh well, I probably won't even notice the difference since all I do is send pics via text.
