  1. Oh I understand. I just think it's stupid to assume that everyone in the world knows what geocaching is, and that it would be the obvious answer to what an ammo can is doing in the woods.
  2. To play the devil's advocate, I've only recently heard of this geocaching nonsense that people apparently do when they have no life, and I think I'm fairly well versed in today's culture and activities. Even still, if I were CFD or CPD, I highly doubt my first instinct would be to hop on geocaching.com to see what it's about. Not everyone is a nerd.
  3. I imagine the horn didn't come back out the same way it went in. Imagine not having a lower jaw...
  4. Looks good. Let's hope the CGI is up to par in this one unlike the last one. Edit- wrong thread. But this looks good, too.
  5. Here OB-GYN should tell her she needs a hysterectomy, whether she actually needs one or not.
  6. Well if they're all in the trees, then that makes it that much easier to find and kill them. India's air quality sucks anyways. They don't need trees.
  7. I don't see Bud Light on that list.
  8. While I agree that they appear to be raising decent children, and I applaud them for doing it without .gov assistance, I still think anymore than 2-3 is too much. The world is already well on it's way towards overpopulation and 19 children is just ridiculous. They claim that their religion is against condoms, but what about pulling out? It's worked well for the majority of men for ages. Just imagine that all 19 of them probably have the same views as their parents, and are likely to pop-out 5+ offspring each, themselves.
  9. People who camp out on the gun cases piss me off. If you've found what you want, take your number and stand out of the way so others can take a look.
  10. Sure you can. Arbitrary numbers are :dumb:

  12. The Anzio 20mm is a 20mm Vulcan round vs the 20mm Lahti round used in the other. The gun itself is about $13, iirc and each shot is $8+ depending on what type of ammo you shoot.
  13. Either you guys are easily impressed, or I expected more out of a $600+ vacuum. The head on the thing was nothing special at all; just a simple brush. I will admit that the suction was pretty good, so I'm inclined to say it's more d/t it's piss-poor agitation of the carpet. The hose attachment was a PITA to use as well. She has a central house vac that works excellent, however, it's a PITA for her to drag 30+ feet of hose around, not to mention, it beats the shit out of the walls. I also think you could be on to something in that the quality has probably gone downhill with increasing popularity and production. To me, it was cheap-ass plastic and not what I expected for $600.
  14. My mom recently bought one (and promptly returned) of the top-shelf 'Animal' models. I was tasked with putting it together for her and testing it out. It's chinsy plastic and barely picked up any dog hair at all.
  15. Those Dyson vacuums are the biggest pieces of shit I have ever encountered. You couldn't give me one of those [severely over-priced] turds. It's amazing what a fancy accent and advertising will do for a product. :dumb:
  16. I skipped the gold and silver. Instead, I invested in brass, copper, and lead. It's way more useful.
  17. http://i42.tinypic.com/20uoitf.jpg :gabe::gabe::gabe: Tried mounting an AimPoint T-1 Micro on it, but my mount wouldn't fit. fit?
  18. It's definitely a disadvantage to try to hunt with a pistol, as they are inherently less accurate to shoot due to stability issues. I use a shooting stick to try to get some stabilization. I also run open sights. The main reason I've tried using a pistol the past few years (my .44mag this year and last, and my .460 the year before) is because it's waaaaay easier to lug around and, I've yet to kill a deer with a pistol. I gave up carrying my .460 because of all the ancillary gear you had to take with it. 1. it's fucking huge. 2. You HAD to used a shooting stick with it because of the length and weight. 3. You HAD to bring hearing protection along with you if you wanted any chance of preserving your hearing. Carrying all that was a PITA, so I switched to my .44, which is much easier to carry, and you don't have to use shooting sticks. My handloads still kick like a mule, though. :dumb:
  19. Anyone else hunt with a pistol? I'll be using my .44 mag, same as last year.
