  1. Yeah, he could be more tactful, I think. His message then wouldn't get lost in people being irritated with him.
  2. You have gained a level and now are wearing a +5 Prophecy Cloak.
  3. Because he considers himself the authority on all things workout, lifting, or gym related. Sadly, dude is pretty jacked, IIRC, and posted up some impressive lifting vids, so it's not like he doesn't know a thing or two that would be useful to people. However, he usually just comes across as a know-it-all in his posts.
  4. That movie is quite possibly the greatest cinematic achievement of our generation.
  5. No, believe me, I get it. I'm all for defending yourself. Just don't get too bent out of shape. The guys here aren't jerks, it just seems that way. For better or worse, this place (CR) shows a lot of "tough love." It's kind of the culture. Not saying it's good or bad, it just is what it is. Over time, you learn to accept it, roll with it, and even embrace it. Think of it as one big, very dysfunctional family.
  6. OP = abbreviation for "original poster," also synonymous with "thread starter." In this case, you're the OP. You started this thread.
  7. These threads make me cringe. OP posts up with excitement, not knowing he's using a product not really accepted by car enthusiasts in attendance. Masses give him some shit for it. OP doesn't realize the culture here, fights back. Masses, who will usually allow a faux pas slide if someone admits ignorance and claims an intent to do better, react even more harshly to OP. Vicious cycle begins, and OP's self-fulfilling prophecy is ultimately realized.
  8. Edit: Wait, I interpreted that at first as squat, but now realizing you meant press (like you said).
  9. I enjoy dubstep. However, it makes me want to head to nearest club and get a table and 14 bottles of Level vodka and indulge with reckless abandon.
  10. What the hell? http://www.thesmokingtire.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/lp700sharpie4-620x413.jpg
  11. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xRFNBWST25E/TFDXlk-Gq3I/AAAAAAAAFSs/fYdObCNjtEA/s400/Ted_Mikulski_Sharpie_Z_Art+Car_q15.jpg http://www.carztune.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/bmw-sharpie-art-car-made-in-louisiana_2.jpg
  12. Are you sure? My first thought when I saw it was that it was one of those cars where the owner has had those "Sharpie" graphics done on it. Hold on and I'll see if I can get some pics to show you what I mean. Edit: Here's one - it's the Lambo that came to mind when I saw that S5 he posted. http://www.geekologie.com/2008/11/12/sl-1.jpg Edit 2: Here's another: http://www.odditycentral.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/sharpie-painted-car6-550x412.jpg If you Google "Sharpie car art" a bunch of stuff comes up.
  13. I'm not even sure if someone was on an IV of steroids they could put on 15lbs of muscle in 2 months.
  14. Dover, this purchase is for my daily driver, not my fun car. But, even if it was my fun car purchase, it wouldn't have been either of the two you guessed. :gabe:
  15. The white looks great. Heart Ben's car.
  16. Apparently driving around Cleveland for a few days allows you to gain a + 4 Amulet of Snow Driving Criticism.
  17. LOL, now it makes sense, yes? Coupe, Prestige package, Ibis White, and black interior. Add ons include carbon fiber inlays and the sports rear differential.
  18. For real, enclosed? If so, that would be so low it would be suspect.
  19. Oh god, no, that's not what this thread is intended to be about, so let's just nip that now. It's a 2012 Audi S5. GT-R will come later.
