...what car I should buy next. I have a 2005 Mercedes C230 as a daily driver. I'll be brief and say I've been less than thrilled with it. I'm thinking of getting a car in the same "class," but I'm not wedded to anything in particular. Here's some things to consider:
- I'll need it as a daily driver. Bonus points given to AWD cars.
- It can be a sedan (i.e., have four doors). Bonus points given to coupes (i.e., two doors).
- I'd like to have this car for four to six years. I'll put in the area of 20K miles on it per year. Bonus points given to cars with higher reliability.
- Don't worry about the price range. That being said, I'm not thinking about buying a Veyron as my daily driver.
Okay, go.
Eminem, IMHO.
Sure, you can make an argument for others that have been mentioned in this thread, such as Biggie, Tupac, and Jay Z. But, I'd say if your top list of MCs doesn't at least include Eminem, then you don't know what you're talking about.
Just unveiled? Video is dated 9/1/10 - I think you're about two months late with your breaking news.
I think I'm okay with those uniforms. I like them better already than the ones we wore for the Michigan last year, and those weren't bad.
I can forsee an arms-race of sorts, in which retailers offer their "Black Friday" deals sooner and sooner before the actual Black Friday. Those retailers that do scoop up all the business, leaving the actual Black Friday deals antiquated. Before we know, "Black Friday" will actually be some Tuesday in July.
Joe, I'm with you. I've been scouring the internetz the past week or two looking for two things, with one of them being a 50"+ flat panel. Thus far I've been underwhelmed with the supposed Black Friday "deals." As it stands now, I'll likely just buy whatever I want whenever I want and save myself the hassle of tolerating the madness that is fighting the masses on Black Friday.
BTW, I read an article lately that essentially expressed your sentiments, which are that it isn't worth waiting for Black Friday to buy a HDTV:

That third quarter against Penn State was probably one of the best quarters I've ever seen Ohio State play, especially considering how horribly they played the first half.
I was nearly convinced that Ohio State was doomed that game. My doomsday attitude wasn't too far fetched, either, considering that, before this Saturday, a Tressel-coached Ohio State team had never overcome that great of a deficit.
