  1. Great question. Maybe in the area of 650rwhp? It's at 10psi right now - it will see at least 20psi. Technically, no, it's broken in, at least from the engine standpoint. IPS did a really thorough - and careful - job of systematically heat-cycling it a while ago. So, it's really to rock, though, considering the elements (i.e., the colder weather) and other factors (e.g., the fact that my present tires aren't going to hold that kind of power), putting a more aggressive, more complete tune on it becomes almost impossible.
  2. PM sent. My understanding is that IPS will be marketing something similar - or identical - to my setup as something of a "kit" to other Vette/Z06 owners. Said somewhat differently, I won't be their only customer with a Corvette that asks for them to do a turbo set-up. Thus, it's probably best to allow them to address questions related to costs and so forth, since, ultimately, each situation is bound to be at least a little different. Similarly, I'll refrain from posting the specifics of my costs here and instead disclose that information privately to those individuals that I feel comfortable enough with to do so. I hope this makes sense. Ultimately, it's not that I mind questions like that - most of those who know me know that I rarely have a problem discussing those kinds of things - it's just that it seems more appropriate to allow IPS to field those questions, since, well, it's their business.
  3. Facetiousness owns you.
  4. Clark, rides for friends are free, races though will cost a little $$$. It hasn't been to the dyno yet on the new set up. As for tires, I'll probably end up running something in the area of a 335 in the rear. I may end up doing a mini-tub, which would obviously allow for a wider tire, but I want to at least see how much traction - or lack thereof - comes along with the tires that are on there now. Of course. Wow, Captain Retarded, way to show up to the party late. Get a clue and then get back to me. No, rather, don't - my massive ego just told me that I don't really give a fuck about you.
  5. Scott, thanks for the gesture, but it wasn't necessary. Honestly, you can close this one and leave the other one in The Kitchen. I realize that thread took a weird turn, but, hey, this is the Internet, where weird shit happens. It's all cool with me.
  6. LOL - idiots. Who knew that Australia is also known as Iran, Korea, and France?
  7. +1. It's one badass bike. Good luck with the sale, Putty.
  8. Wicked. High five to you.
  9. Brian, that's hilarious - if it fit, it would be my new sig.
  10. I'm a 2004 model. Two-doors and no back seat. I'm black with black wheels. I've been missing in action for a while, though a lot of progress has been made on me lately. For the past two nights, I haven't been able to get any sort of traction, even in fourth gear. And even on only 10lbs of boost and only with seven degrees of timing. I'll probably need really sticky tires, some race gas, and a mini-tub. I'll be owning an Outerbelt near you in the coming months. Please help identify me... EDIT: Here's a hint: http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/tilleyttzo6.wmv
  11. Okay, this thread pretty much confirms that math owns me.
  12. Isn't 0.07% the same as saying 7%? Maybe not. In any event, sorry for the confusion - I just put down what I read on the calculator, which was this figure: 0.0732. Seems like I fucked something up in the translation of that. Mathematics was never my forte.
  13. Ken, awesome purchase - car looks wicked. By my calculations, the Z06 payment is 0.07% of my net income. Also, I agree with Greg on his earlier post about debt ratios and so forth - I just met with a mortgage lender and we had a long conversation about all that shit. Greg and that guy - who knows his stuff, seemingly - said the same things. Ergo, Powers is teh winnar.
  14. "Religion is the opiate of the masses." - Karl Marx No, the Communists did not allow any religious freedoms.

    Last Night

This post is replete with infractions, including: 1. One-upmanship (e.g., chiding someone for not knowing your fucking seating arrangements in the EVO); 2. Ricer excuses for losing (e.g., "He was in high second gear and we were only in third!"); 3. Hypocrisy (e.g., saying you don't know because it's not your car, and then proceeding to tell us where it's being tuned and specific plans for the car); and 4. Being a squirrel (e.g., "It's going to be in the low 11's!"). And you still didn't rectify your statement of him not being able to race because of the engine but then telling us how many times he lost racing.

So your friend ended up racing an RX-7 after saying he couldn't race? Color me this smilie:
  17. Chad, I'm with you, and I agree with all of your points. USC does have an athletic, fast defense, and they seem to be (characteristically) peaking at the right time. Carroll hasn't lost in November during his tenure at USC - that says a lot. USC may very well move above UM in the polls - and the BCS ratings - this week. If not, then I would think that, with a win over UCLA next week, USC moving up to be in the #2 slot in the BCS is inevitable.
  18. Nice, Joe. I got a ticket on Thanksgiving day for doing 77 in a 60 in the Benz. It was on 33 on the southeast side between Groveport and Canal. A sheriff's deputy got me on laser - right about where they always sit. I should have known better. Oh well, I considered myself a little lucky for not getting additional tickets for tint and no front plate. No way I was getting out the speeding ticket though - in fact, I didn't even try to work that angle.
  19. Huh, wow, thought I had stumbled on to some special "we all get to go fast" zone on 33. Guess not.
  20. Sorry, reading comprehension bitch slapped me.
  21. I'm filing for divorce tomorrow. We're through.
  22. LOL. Recipe for an E-Beating: 1. Be a noob. 2. Come up with a lame idea for a thread. 3. Include in that lame idea an overly told joke that wasn't ever really that funny to begin with. 4. Start your thread in The Kitchen. 5. Enjoy your e-beating.
