Not everyone wants to just go fast in a straight line though. The man has a vette I doubt he would be interested in a 89 camaro roller, being built to be a drag car. That is just my guess though I could be wrong. Also someone mentioned the r32 golf. I have had the chance to drive a few of them and can tell you they are fun as hell to drive and if you do the hpa twin turbo kit on it you will make like 600 awdhp. Its not cheap but it would be a really fun. The dsm is a really fun car car too like I said and you dont find many tastefully done ones around anymore.

I used the Mobal 1 synthetic atf stuff. I think that is what it was called at least. I never had a problem with it.

Congrats Ray. Being that I was at one time an happy owner of a ws6, I get alot of joy seeing what you have accomplished with your car. It is a beast and is a direct result in what you will get with a car when it is built with dedication and pride.

Ya I could see that. It is usually the case with most motar swap cars. Alot of these cars with the kits have everything you need to get everything on or in the car and running. That one I showed had everything needed to even bolt a t56 right up I think too. The pain will be getting your electrical stuff all working in the dash and all that I would assume. I've actually talked to you about your 7 a few times last year at McFlips. I should have bought it off you, still not sure why I didn't. It was in IPS at the time I think. Its a beast. Oh I never said it would be as simple as a b16 swap in a Honda, your gonna have to put your hours in or pay a good penny in labor to have the work done but with it being so documented now the bugs are worked out to a point with this swap and we now know what works and what won't. Its not like I would be the only person doing the swap now and trying to figure out how to make it all work, if I so chose to do a swap like this. Its mearly following the directions and fabrication at this point. The advantage of having this car and or a rx7 is that they weigh less than a vette with the same motar. I think I would rather have the vette though.

It really isn't a super amount of work to get that motar in, it will cost a good bit of money though. I know its a well documented swap and there are multiple people manufactureing direct swap kits with everything you need to drop the motar in for around $1,700. That was one of the first things I noticed too. Kinda gives the car a cheap hot wheels kinda look. Like I said it is clean though. Has a few ricer add ons but it is clean.

Ya I can agree with that hell you can get a rolling body and a built motar for half of his asking price. I would drive the tires off that car though. I would love to have an lsx swapped rx7 or 240sx. I will give the man credit though that is a very very clean example of an lsx swapped car that is what 20 years old. Car sounds nasty on his vid as well.

I can see what you are saying but last I checked it was the media that gave Lebron the name King James, and also heard at times Prince James. The media hyped him for years, hell he was on the cover of Sports Illistrated as a jr in highschool for crying out loud, and on the cover they called him Prince James I believe. He is nothing more than a person with an ego that the media has been the main contribution towards. He does want to be the best ever, but it is mostly the media that has been pushing this Lebron is going to be better than Jordan crap because since Jordan left the game it hasn't been the same and they are looking for another great talent that the game can use as a face of the NBA to save the league. It was going to be Kobe but he has to many haters that he is not a "team player" even though he is one of the few if not only that can truely take over a game and be the deciding factor in its outcome. Honestly, I think Lebron left Cleveland to a point because he was tired of being the reason for a win and the reason for a loss as well. Too many fans wanted to see him take over a game and put the team on his shoulders just like Jordan had once done and Kobe does now, but for some reason Lebron tended to fold in these instances and not pull it out. He seems like a player that needs a D Wade or a few other stars around because he either lacks the confidence to do it all on his own and needs them to win the games, or he is simply all hype and god given talent missing the rest of the qualities that makes good players great and great players gods.

I hate to say it there are quite a few things that need changed in this country. One I would have to say the economy. The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer is not working for this country. Education is another one. Too many kids are getting left behind in this country due to poor schools and teachers that don't seem to give a shit. The last is our rights of privacy and the fact that many of our Constitutional rights are being stripped away from us on a daily basis with the excuse that its all for Homeland Security.

I can dig it man wish you the best of luck. At least you were one of the smart people that didn't live outside of your means and was able to save some bread back in case of a time of need. I hardy believe anything is possible in the United States anymore. Maybe for some ie the privledged, but we are hardly a land of opportunity.

It is so sad that our country is in such termoil that stories like yours and evans exist. So many people in this crountry work so hard for the things that they earn in life, its a shame that many of them are loseing these very things because our Government can't unite together and find a solution to the tast at hand.

I would pay 5 grand for it if all that you say about it is true. The 95 and 96's aka the 2g's were the crank walkers and ticking time bombs. I would defently modd the car and enjoy it. I mean hell do the math, a 17 year old car with only 51 k on it, thats 3000 miles a year that was put on the car roughly. This car is just getting broken in really and should have a good ammount of miles left on its clock being that it was taken very good care of. I would love to get my hands on a 1 or 2g one day but before I do that I have to get an lsx car back in my life first.

Welcome to cr man. I have seen you driving around town while at work alot. I like scoobys more of an evo guy though. Honestly I say do the modds first and then take the car out and work over a few mustangs and lightly modded camaro's. The look on a 40 year old dudes face when your car would pull him on the freeway with the hot wheels paint job would be priceless. I will have to say I can put up with that paint job more than I could the one sti that had all the skulls on it that was running around town a few years back. At least your paint job has some meaning to it, even if it was ment for someone else...

I read the same thing on LS1 tech. I also heard with the higher hp levels ie above 700 the ls3/l92 heads were having problems holding high boost. They were pushing water and or lifting the heads. The ls3 is virtually the same block as an ls9. The ls9 makes what 650 hp so I will go with what I said earlier you should be good for 600hp easy. I have read that people were making 900 to 1000hp on this block but that seems like alot of power for an aluminum block. May be just me though.
