Simple because after the first one they didnt impound my car or take me to jail and it still seemed like a joke to me and everything. You have to understand that I am a person that truely believed for years that the rules didnt apply to me and I did whatever I wanted and never got caught doing it. I lived my life by the motto of the NWA. For those who dont know what I am talking about I mean the Fu@k The Police song that they did. So when I went and got my car from the parking lot where it was at in Gahanna I simply said f it and went to a bar out in Polaris and drank from roughly 2 that afternoon till 2 that night because I was a lil pissed off at the events that happened the night before. Got no more than a few miles down the road and cherries. Opening your eyes in jail and going wtf am I doing here was when it all kicked in and it felt a little more serious. Saddly its amazing what a few hours in jail will do for you. I also had to serve 5 days in Deleware for all of this after I went to court and all of that and I will say that was the changeing point for me. I got along fine in jail and had no problems but I am a pretty boy who likes to eat good food. And lets just say there is nothing pretty about jail, it stinks and the food sucked. I was shitting water the entire time I was there.

Ya it was not cheap to say the least. When you hire Sam or Bill you are saying I am willing to spend whatever it takes to walk. Giving my situation of getting 2 in 24 hours I think he assumed it would be much more work than what it was for him to get me to walk. Deleware he rocked it out and had to do like no work at all. Now Gahanna on the other hand was a chore. We had to show up 4 times before he got the plea. Something about them having an agenda before they even pulled me over was a big help in my case I guess because they were saying way to much on camera and I kept asking my officer who arrested me questions to set him up to fail and court and he left the camera on in the car so they could hear everything that we were talking about.

Its ok though. My life was on a downward spiral if you know what I mean and once I got in trouble it was a big wake up call and my parents took me back in to support me through all of the life changes that I needed to make, and help me get back on my feet. If it wasn't for their help, guidence and support this year I wouldnt be where I am now so I will gladdly live out here in the country for the time being while im getting all of my ducks in a row.

You are going to laugh when I say this but I got 2 in 24 hours back in April. I hired Sam Shmanski (not sure on spelling of last name) He charged me 8500 to take me on for both cases. The rest of the money is in impound fees, maryhaven, and all the other bs that comes with a dui. I walked on both though so I did get out of them just lost my lisence for 2 years for refuseing to blow both nights. Got driving in an unmarked lane for one of them and wreckless opp for the second. It costs alot of money to get out of trouble and insure that it will not be on your record and follow you for the rest life. Thats why I paid all that money though, so I wouldnt be punished years down the road when might want a new job and what not.

Ha ha ha ha. I just refuse to drive if I know I will be drinking now. And since I live in Johnstown there are not many bars around to go to. I should just move close to the goat in new albney and I can walk to the bar whenever I want to go out lol. I'll take drunk in public any day over a dui ever again.

Thats all I can do really. But the lessons I have learned in money management this year being so streched thin will greatly help me in the future as well. I never understood the value of a dollar untill I finaly had to buckle down this year.

And it sucks because under normal circumstances I could more than afford this car. Hell I bought my old ws6 when I was 20 years old for roughly the same price as that. Shit my payment on my Equonix I have now is very close to what payments would be on that car. To anyone out there trust me do not drink and drive it is not worth the trouble to get it taken care of and even worse you can kill yourself or someone else. I wish I didnt have to learn these mistakes the hard way. But sometimes thats the only way you ever will.

Not sure if you found someone yet but I know of a few places out in Johnstown that do exhaust work and the such. Not always the BEST in quality but I do know if you go in and offer them cash for the work they don't care about cats and all of that stuff because there is no paper trail. They will do anything. This was the case with two of my past vehicles. One shop ran a straight pipe for me and the other did a custom exhaust after I parted out my first car which had no cats and they just smiled when I handed them the cash.

If I had a car right now this would so be my thing. I would build a c5 zo6 for this kind of stuff and shoot for 180+ considering in my old ws6 I hit speeds well over 150 with that car in a few races back in the day and it never had a problem pulling in 5th gear. I have an old vid one time where I did something simular to this with yellow vette rob and a few other people. How many miles is it from the rt33 bridge to sawmill bridge? I can dig what your saying for sure man. I have only heard good things about sheperd, it was kind of nice to hear the other side, like how willing he is to fix his mess ups and what not. There are parts that do require break ins though. The drive it like your gonna drive it idea does not work from what I have seen. I have no experiance with IPS so i can not comment on this one. Now the slowmotion situation is another problem. Any one I know that took their cars there had bad experiances. One in particular was a 300zx tt that went it for a built block and big turbo set up and over a year after it went in it was still untouched and alot of stuff was misssing from the car and the motar. Last time i checked the block never even made it into the car. I dont even think they gave my friend back the car. Yes they can build nasty hondas and yes Cory can tune well but I hate to say it I would not tell a single sole to go their with their car. And I hate saying that cause their all nice guys but ya wouldnt do it.

The price does not seem that bad to me. Good guns cost alot of money that just how it goes.

Oh and a stage 3 Bushur block is $3050 because I know where this is going. This is the block that he himself ran in his drag cars. Match all that with good supporting modds and a good turbo and your in the 10's for about 10 grand if you are smart on how you spend the rest of your money. A DSM is one of the few imports I would ever own. I have loved the cars for years and would love to build one some day once I get my other goals taken care of first.

This is what was done to my old ws6 I just had a few other minor things here and there. Had jet hot headers with an hooker ory and an slp loud mouth cat back, the one with no mufflers just the resonator. Car was very very very loud got me pulled over a few times ha ha ha. Car still got good mpg too, I think when I made my trip up to bgsu to see some friends it made over 20mpg as long as I kept it in 6th on the freeway and wasnt trying to show off. A good tune goes a long way as well.

Understandable. How fast was his Mustang just curious? Honestly 12's with just a boost controler is not that bad though. Hell 12's in general isn't that bad. But I was never a track guy and prob will never be thats why I never really cared what other peoples cars ran at the track. I ran into plunty of so called sub 12 sec cars most were mustangs, (sorry ford guys) and a few imports in my old ws6 and I would work them all day long down 270. And these were cars that would have ate me alive at the track like I said sub 12 sec cars and I was a midd 12 sec car at around 117. Honestly if he wants a project car he should just heads, cam, and throw a bottle in his zo6 and just call it a day. Thats what I would do. Or like I said go with a awd 4g63 car. Its not that expensive to build one of those blocks or save the time and have on built and all he would need is a shepp tranny and he would have a good shot at 10's pending on psi and driver ability. The ls1 swapped 240sx idea was mentioned already but that is a good idea too because you can find those cars for nothing now and all your money can go into the motar and trans set up. :funny:

I can understand this. I was not aware the op was wanting an extreamly high hp car that can only go straight. I was thinking he wanted an all around fun car to modd and turn reasonable times in if he decided to go to the track for cheap. That is why I suggested the 4g63 cars. I mean all you need is a boost controller to crank up the psi and some fairly sticky tires to help the awd and you will be running low 13's prob 12's with an decently overworked turbo. That would cost you not much money at all.

First off since you can't read ill help fill you in as others have. You need to make a more detailed intro about yourself and why you like cars and the such. Also post a picture of this so called Evo fq300 because something tells me you cant even afford one because they are quite expensive and were not even made in America they were made in Europe so you would have had to have one shipped over here. I doubt you paid what twice the sticker price of an American Evo 8 to just get an different one from Europe that is mearly a bolt on car with a conservitive tune that would get beat up on by over half of the cars on this forum... Any time I have even been in trouble that I knew I couldnt talk my way out of I always shut my mouth and just took it making the cops think they had me and then I would just drop the hammer on them in court with the best lawyer money can buy and always walked on far lesser charges. The best thing you can do when confronted with the police is just shut your mouth cause any legal advice they give you is bullsh@t and is them just trying to get you to talk and give their case against you more power.
