  1. Thanks everyone.

The rear did settle a touch more this past week. It honestly looks better in person. Pictures really don't do it justice. That road wasn't completely flat, so it looks like the rear is still sitting high. I have other pictures from right after lowering it, but they're not the best ones. I can post those if you want to see it.

In regards to the wheels, I know they are not everyone's cup of tea, but I love them. They're different from everything else, since most are doing gunmetal/black on their imports. It's a different combination and gets noticed, whether its positive or negative. Sizewise, I probably should've gone to 18s, but I got too good a deal on these with tires to not take them last March.

can i ask what that whole set up run you? ive been trying to talk the g/f into lowering hers and upgrading the rear swaybar for a while

Well, I got it all said and done for under $600. However, I got the springs for stupid cheap from a member on another forum. Brand new, paid $125. If you go to Mazda3Forums, there are some people selling new springs for pretty cheap.

The struts and shocks were used with 7k on them for a $350 with 2-day shipping. Cheapest I found on those new was $470. Camber links are still on sale for $160 shipped. If you're serious, I'll be more than happy to take you for a ride in the car to see if you want to go through with it.

  2. Put some new suspension components on my sedan last week. Dropped it about 1.25" or so. Sits perfecly now without being slammed and worrying about hitting everything. Rides firmer without being punishing, but even better, there's zero body roll now. Corners flat and turn-in is vastly improved.

    I put the following on:

    -Pregress Lowering Springs.

-Mazdaspeed Accessory Sport Struts & Shocks.

    -SPC Adjustable Rear Camber Links.

  3. I was out to watch it for a little bit. Got a late start today and didn't make it out there till the afternoon, then promply had to leave at 3.

Saw AJ and Thorne run, but I didn't recognize the T/A and the V until now. AJ was tearing it up. Did you get any better than 38 seconds?

Sucks I couldn't get a ride, but maybe at the driving school day I can get one.

  4. Cheap Cat Litter has always worked for me.

Once it has soaked it all up, I have just brushed the area w/ dishsoap and water. Cannot even tell anything was ever there....

    KillJoy

She did use the cat litter. I guess she was referring to the stain that's covering half her side of the garage.

She's not going to be happy to hear she has to scrub.

    Thanks for the info.

  5. Adam, you'll be in "stupid class"......heehehehe. Actually your in "ST" but it doesn't matter for the drivers school as we won't use the classing.

Fiji, to race you'll need to be there by 8, to watch anytime.

Good to know. I'm not racing, but I wanted to get a good idea of what time to show up so I can watch/hang out.
