  1. dammit, you quoted it and i read it again by accident got a headache this time around
  2. either you're drinking, or so upset you didn't read over that paragraph after you typed it rewrite that paragraph a bit when you sober up or explain a bit better or give background or just drive to the OSU campus and I'll hook you up with a nerdy little law school boy that'll make a lot of $$ some day (not me - i've enough women headaches)
  3. It was great, but didn't live up to my expectations ...maybe because nothing could have Didn't have some of the better scenes, like in Troy, where the big fella gets his neck stabbed I felt as though a few of the scenes were predictable... I left the movie wanting something a little more....wasn't quite satisfied - maybe it's cuz i hated the last scene rather badly eh - whatever....go see it
  4. lol well, those are two good guesses Or, not I'll stick with it being much more probable that he's a 16 year-old...5'2" asian kid with a runny nose and pink eye...who thinks he's uber kewl because his rich daddy bought him a nice car
  5. That's the first thing I thought when I saw his license plate at the airport. That article from BBC about asians complaining that american made condoms are too large...came to mind Anyone else? Seriously...who would put something that stupid on their license plate. Either mommy didn't give him enough attention or he uses a thimble http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/0310071151a.jpg http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/031007.jpg
  6. i'm subject to regular background checks about ANY criminal activity - or i'd be interested (so, i try to shy away from any potential troubles) good luck and i second the notion that this thread should be deleted
  7. rear coil springs, not front springs i'm wanting to put a 4" lift kit in - might require a compressor to get the springs in there with that it's a '66 GTO the coils aren't even bolted to the axle literally, 2 bolts I had them apart about a month ago and should have replaced it all back then I put new springs in it at the time - was hoping they would be enough to lift the rear end evidently, i need the spacers (and the air shocks are 30 years old - probably just need replaced) and i got a good deal on air drag bags to put in the springs
  8. I'm still new to Columbus - don't really know where to go to not get 'beat' by a shop I've had great experiences with 'mad hatter exhaust' - great guys at reasonable prices I'm putting new springs, shocks, air drag bags and spacers/lifts on my car taking off the old air shocks (hate them - leaking...etc) It's easy if i take it to a shop and they have a lift Shouldn't take but 20 minutes to install - a bolt on each side of the shock and bolt the new one one maybe 20 minutes a side.... At most, might have to use a spring compressor to slip the new springs in after i put the spacer in (a 4" platform the spring sits on, to lift the rear end of the car a little to get some meat under it) anyways, any suggestions? I've even got no-hop bars i wouldn't mind installing i could do it all - but i'd freeze my ass off crawling under it while it sat on jack stands - i'd rather pay someone a few bucks and save my cusswords for another week
  9. $20 live trap at any quality farm and fleet or other similar store you'll get rid of the squirrel and won't have a rotting, smelly POS stuck somewhere in your wall ...solved a similar problem i had about 5 years ago be sure to poke and prod the squirrel, or release it into your roommate's room at least once, before relocating it they bite surprisingly hard
  10. my girlfriend confirms that he has quite the temper and isn't afraid to fight decently athletic at well - not quite as skinny as the pictures show the only job he can work is construction and manual labor, after all
  11. found a 7029263 - manual trans, 1969 - pretty much what i wanted
  12. Miller! I know this guy (not personally) well, actually, my girlfriend knows this guy (he's been trying to fuck her for a while) Which severely pisses me off...just her having been in his presence (at one time)or him still texting or calling her he sends text messages to her phone about parties more often than i'd like there isn't a dirtier human on the face of this earth - he deserves anything coming to him after the many stories i've heard (usually of him abusing women) I wouldn't touch the guy with a pole - I always joke that he's got at least 3 std's i can get dirt..... I know one story off the top of my head And no, this guy isn't a college boy. That hair dye has went pretty deep into his head - he's a fucking moron with no future - works whatever construction job he can get Anyways - a decent story: he was living with this girl (can't afford his own place - no education - barely graduated high school, crappy jobs - etc) ...living with this girl he was fucking..... ended up fucking the girl's sister (not really a good story - but sounds like one of many i've heard about involving him) his modus operandi is to fuck as many women as possible, pass as many diseases as possible and move on when he gets tired of the girl You should have that girl read this before she becomes dirty (already too late, i'd imagine - he wouldn't be dating her if she didn't put out) he plays - and he plays pretty well, from what i've heard
  13. i'm curious to see which one looks better another car club i'm in last year did a lot of research and went with the DMH i just got mine today - same good quality but i don't like the new switch he uses as much as the old one (older one was bigger - like a toggle switch) http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/Picture028.jpg http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/Picture029.jpg These things are so thick it's overkill, methinks but i've got no problem switching over if the others are built better the 4 year vs 3 year warranty worries me a little though And isn't QTP the company that only warranties them for limited race use? DMH doesn't have a limit - street/strip - he doesn't care
  14. where do you live? i live over by oakland and high (2 blocks north of lane and high) my landlord sometimes has parking garages @ 50.00 a month they're shady little garages in shacks - but they're covered and seem halfway safe (i've got one)
  15. ....they don't normally add 20 or 40 horsepower it depends on your combo it's not unheard of - but rare to add that much some people will even lose horsepower with the cutout but they sound damned cool
  16. A rather compulsive buddy of mine is going to buy one next week here in columbus - only because it's the only one he can find (organizing $ now) the guy wants $7,000 for it - a '96 or 97 with 70k miles pretty clean, but i thought that was a lot of miles i think he's overpaying by at least $1,000 i'd love to find him another one if someone happens to have seen one or know of a classifieds board with one in Ohio/KY/Indiana or something or even if you have an opinion
  17. i've had two of my GTO's in there before (gateway) it's a pretty good place - lots of security
  18. ...it'd be awesome to have Jegs + Columbus racing vs Summit + cleveland racing ...good luck organizing that
  19. i think nitrousbird is the only one on the internet with that opinion do a search of 'qtp dmh cutouts' and the first several links i read recommended DMH heavily over QTP - even on boards where QTP is a registered sponsor http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1158365&highlight=cutouts I don't know know what particular you're talking about - how the motor mounts, but the DMH is much heavier and better built, in general (post a picture of yours - i'll post a picture of mine) the QTP looks small in comparison QTP's have a reputation for leaking Mccord's have a reputation for breaking Even summit sells DMH - thinks they were the best quality on the market when they looked to add them to their catalog the only thing going for QTP is that they're a big business - you can call 9-5 monday through friday and get ahold of someone that being said - i think QTP has some shitty policies They'll screw you with restocking fees and being shitty about returns, whereas DMH is pleasant to deal with Dave at DMH can take a day or two to get ahold of - and often needs an e-mail or two before he remembers to respond (not an internet guy) - the only drawback PLUS: I can probably get you a 'deal' on the DMH cutouts pm me if you're interested - up to you all of the brands are fun little toys
  20. blown them open? the pressure opens them by itself? that sounds shady
  21. there's a guy in cincinnati that makes them out of his garage http://www.dmhperformance.com they're by far the highest quality out there (summit sells them - but you can buy direct from him) and if you break it - no questions asked (other than maybe laughing at how you broke it) - he'll replace it (i ran over a large stump) they're a little more $ than the rest, but they have the best warranty and you deal with a nice guy...makes it worth it to me (i just ordered another set last week - waiting on it to arrive) it's definitely a fun upgrade - i recommend it I had my last set on my daily driver for 3 years - never had to rebuild it and never had a single issue
  22. the holes are only in the very front it's been driven on the street quite a bit but yes - definitely not an every day driver
  23. finally got off my ass and got some pictures this is a ridiculously neat car i've got 3 others - so not going to start another one, although it's tempting i can't walk into my garage as it is - full of parts from this and other cars - i seriously need to thin out The front fenders/core support are in my garage very little is missing - a dashpad, maybe a front bumper (might have one), hood hinges (had a fiberglass hood - but i've got a rust free stock one to go with it - just needs hinges) etc - call or PM or e-mail if interested - easier to talk about it 937-269-7753 this would surprise a lot of people - there's significant weight taken out of the front, as you can see lotta work - lot of racing stuff already setup...battery for the trunk, fiberglass trunk lid, roll cage - etc http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car1.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car2.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car3.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car4.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car5.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car6.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car7.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car8.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car9.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car10.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car11.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car12.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car13.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car14.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car15.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car16.JPG http://homepages.udayton.edu/~mertzgea/car17.JPG i'd even throw in the set of disc brakes - i've stubbed my toe on them one too many times
