  1. Looks great. Next time though it might be nice to refrain from posting crotch shots of male members on here, and I'm sure Andy would appreciate it!!
  2. What is it when someone does ask for this that the thread gets closed?? I don't get it.
  3. Wow!!! I guess he gets a point for creativity...lol.
  4. ^You should. That car depending on the motor should be legal for STU maybe or SMS for sure. AJ, just let me know.
  5. Sucs to hear man. It's hard to trust anyone these days and you have to be a prick when dealing with a situation like this otherwise they will try to get away with as little as possible. Give them a fair shot to rectify this situation, if not, go after them with everything you got.
  6. AJ, 2 seater cars have always been classed to them selves in SM and ST and it's going to stay that way. If they allow 2 seaters in SMS it opens up a big can of worms of big power cars like yours and awd turbo Porsches which could be unfair. Plus the turnout of 2 seat classes has been very low the past few years so an SMS-2 is not an option. Basically, SM2 and ASP are your options. Though if you run all the points events you'd stand a good chance at a class win because of the low turn out. Not the funnest way to win but that's the way it is.
  7. Gotta be Stas?? Only one I can think of. And when I'm there in the Laser there's only so much I can do with that old thing and yes there are much faster drivers out there than me!! I'd love to do another Governers Cup with a technical course like last year in the S2000 only this time without rain and see what happens!!
  8. Sounds good, I'll see you there.
  9. AJ, I'll have to ask as I don't know what all types of car they are going to allow in the class we have SM and SM2 for the 2 seater cars, I don't think they are planning on a SMS2. I'll find out. Matt, yes, you now have no excuse so you better show up now!!!
  10. ^That would be great to have that low a ratio!!!
  11. On the DLB calendar if you hover over the right icon it will tell you how many are registered. Do it sooner than later as it will likely fill up before this weeks end.
  12. Joe, yeah the big power cars were at some advantage on that course but that M3 did alright though he has over 100hp more than you!! Andrew, you must register you and your car info on that site, then go to the event on the calendar and click the "notepad icon", if you hover each icon it will tell you what it is. It will then guide you through registration. Don't worry too much about picking the right class for the drivers school though or a specific number. The idea of PAX is to even the playing field and show driver skill and car prep. It's not a perfect system but a good driver with a car in the right class will stand out. If your like me with a car that is in a high class but only on street tires you can still suck on pax, so don't take it entirely to heart.
  13. OVR is finally introducing a new class due to demand called "SMS, or Street Modified Sport". Basically it's for those of you that get put into "Street Mod that allows R compound tires a place to play with other cars on street tires. Are you in this class?? In most any case where you have turned up the boost of your car, added some displacement, swapped a motor into your car or have a built motor with aftermarket parts you will end up in SM. The SM class normally allows R comp tires but this class will restrict tires to 140 treadwear rating or higher for street tires. There is almost no limit to tire size or how much power your car makes like SM normally allows. This will be considered a normal class where you can accrue points but I'm not sure if there will be a year end trophy. This is a supplemental class and only exists here and a few other regions use it, it is not a nationally recognized class so don't expect to hear about it at the Pro Solo or National level and plenty of regions may not have this class. OVR has created it based on the number of people interested here to meet demand and help with newer people that can get thrown into a very fast SM class almost too soon to be competing with well prepped cars and drivers. The details are still being finalized but this class will be available at the next event. If your not sure your going to be eligible just ask on here, or when you get to the event the Tech people will get you sorted out.
  14. ^Yep, he owned PAX and was a damn good driver!!
  15. The Evo school is not coming here this year. The closest one was Cincy and I think they already had it. You will get a lot of seat time and it can't hurt, that's for sure. Depending on how many people they have instructing it may be only 5 students per instructor. I should be there instructing and I believe Rich(31rx7) might be as well.
  16. Gray, it's not loud, but it at least doesn't sound stock anymore.
  17. 2 weeks from now we have our next events. Saturday May 3 is the OVR drivers school and sunday the 4th is points event #2 @ Ackerman Lot. The school is reccommended for people within their first couple of years of autocross or have never been to autocross. There is a limit of 50 drivers to keep the ratio of teachers to students at a good level, 11 are registered as I type this so sign up soon. You will see probably 25-35+ laps of one-on-one instruction throughout the day. If you've been wanting to give autocross a try this is the perfect venue to learn in. Sunday is a normal event open to everyone and a good opportunity to test out what you learned from the drivers school.
  18. Gray, sounded like a glass pack!! Jerry, you'll figure it out eventually, it can be difficult learning to deal with the oversteer after coming out of a fwd car.
  19. I'm not watching pax anymore, not being in E Prepared w/street tires!!! AJ, you looked good out there. Only place I saw you struggle with was that bumpy section in the kink, ride with a couple of the other Vette guys, they seemed to just throttle steer over it sort of, you'll get used to the back end hanging out on that car. Gray, you got me on mileage but mine's almost 19 years old!! I didn't know you had done the exhaust until you were on the course yesterday!!
  20. I've been wanting to get to a doctor about this as I have a really difficult time breathing through my nose and may have it. Keep us updated as I've heard before it's well worth it.
  21. Mike, Gray is damn smooth with that car but there was a large difference in rubber between yours and his car.
  22. Gotta go soon, most any reasonable offer will be considered.
  23. ^Yes you did, we LOL'd!!! Especially when the announcer was trying to figure out what the hell you were driving....first he said "chrysler product", then he thought it might be a shadow...lol. Did you win GS Gray??
  24. Must donate bike to MrAutoX before ban!!
  25. Stupid rain came in right on que on my heat!! Oh well, onto 2 weeks from now and hoping it's dry for the drivers school and points event!!
