  1. Money is already back in my account and I received my confirmation letter from the BBB about my complaint and we'll see what comes of that if anything.
  2. Brian, rail has been on the increase for a while now. Intermodal especially has become more used than before. It's good to see the rail getting the business back it deserves, especially as vital as it is to our country. I wish we had the passenger rail system a lot of othere countries do, hell you can take them almost anywhere in Europe!!
  3. Looking around it seems like a "Dual sport" bike would be best for me. Suzuki had one that I liked but I'm going to keep looking around.

    Anthony...

MrAutox = owned!!! Good one guys!
  5. Xbox Live is getting the negative publicity(^worded that badly, sorry), Chase has done nothing wrong and actually I just got back from the bank, they are charging back the last $7.99 to Microsoft!!! The lady on the phone from Microsoft said "good luck with that, WE are microsoft" to the banker and I and hung up the phone LOL!!! Chase Bank FTW!!!
  6. My account wasn't used improperly, hell they saw my last logon date was last October. I didn't think to remove the profile but that's not an issue. I had initially used a prepaid card but it had run out and with the impending move I went month to month. I use Chase bank, though I doubt I'll get a penny back I am going to give them as much negative publicity as possible. BBB complaint has already been filed and I'm looking into anything else I can do.
  7. Last October I moved out of my old roommates place and at that time I shutoff my Xbox Live account as I don't own an Xbox. Last month I noticed I was still being charged for the service and called again to cancel it, at the time I was told no more charges would show up and yet again yesterday another $7.99 shows up on my card. I call again today and shutoff the service but who knows, I'm waiting to hear back from CPD on what can be done about this and am heading to the bank shortly to dispute the charges. FUCK Xbox Live and good luck if you ever try and cancel their service.
  8. At $4/gallon these days I don't blame them. I'm skeptical of it hapening as they've always talked about doing this and this article is based solely on their chatter, though the prices may of finally pushed them over the edge when your paying over $600 a tank!!
  9. Some people request perm numbers, makes it easier so you don't have to change numbers every event and get magnets.
  10. I will be in the Laser most of the year likely. AJ, nothing your doing is illegal in "Street Prepared" and either class has the potential for some seriously fast cars. Don't know about the "street tire" thing yet but I hear it's easily setup if people want it. Best thing I can say to do is when you go to the event ask about it, that might entice management to add it maybe.
  11. AJ, need to know the mods but either "ASP" or "SM2" for the Vette. Sorry about the free day thing, the timing certainly sucks. Pat, I didn't talk you into it, your wallet did!!
  12. Yeah, trucks are a tough sell these days. I hate to get rid of such a reliable vehicle but I have plans and they don't include the Pathy.
  13. Since this is coming up and there are always people asking what's what so here's some info: If you plan on attending more than 3-4 events of autocross it's cheaper to simply become an SCCA member. You can do this by joining at your first even which you get for free, or go online to http://www.SCCA.org and signing up there. Non-member prices have gone up so it's well worth it to become a member plus you get some coupons and discounts to places like Tirerack.com and such. Registering for an event: For some basic info go to our local site at http://www.ovr-scca.org There is a lot of good information like what to do and bring, along with the autocross schedule, pictures, and link to the registration site. To register online go to http://www.dlbracing.com and register your info on that site. You will have to put in your car info, pick a class, and register a car number for the season. To register for a specific event go to the "calendar" section, look at the date of the event and look for "OVR" and a notepad icon that says "register for event" and click on that. It will walk you through the registration for that event. You can pay online through PAYPAL or use a credit card, or "mail in check" option to pay for the event. Now just show up to the event with a mechanically sound car and yourself and your ready to go. There are several SCCA members like myself on here that are usually more than willing to help so ask any questions you need to. Ben
  14. You must be a member to accrue points and be eligible for the class trophy. Mike, the membership is $75 for a year so sign up for that one. SCCA member online means you register online before the event for $26, if you walk up register it's $35. Weekend member apparantly means non-member price. So if you plan on being out there part of the season there's no point in not being an annual member. Plus SCCA members get discounts at the Tirerack.com and various other places and they send you some coupons and such.
  15. Prolly something inbetween, if the TLR is considered that then that's the kind of bike I want as it was a good sized bike for me. The sport bikes are fine by me if they're big enough, something like a Busa I can strech out on a bit, sitting on a 600 today my knees were in my face almost. To put it simply, sport bike look, but big enough to be comfy on as it will be driven a lot. Yes, I want my cake and be able to eat it too!!
  16. Prices went up last year I believe.
  17. ^Too small a bike for my big ass, thanks though. Just came back from ASK Powersports just to get some ideas. Sat on some GSXR's to see what they're like and they're just too small for me. They had something called a Bandit there used, comfy bike but I didn't like the look that much. I looked at some TL's used online, still like them and saw a few within the range I want. Need to look some more. Also, saw an awful lot of "SV650" or something like that, why so many? Just that popular or something wrong with them?? Lots of them online for sale and many quite new.
  18. Mike, usually 2-4 weeks ahead the events can be registered for online.
  19. With gas prices and summer coming I think it's finally time to get a bike. Been wanting one for a while just never made it happen. My Pathfinder is for sale in the Corral and am willing to trade it for a bike. I'm looking for a sport bike, don't really like the cruisers. Price range of no more than $4000(the Pathfinder is funding this once it sells). I always liked the TL1000R and would love to have one but am open to many bikes. I have no experience with bikes so as much as I like the Hayabusa(mostly for it's size) I need something I can manage but big enough to be comfy on as I'm 6'2" and 250lbs. Suggestions?? Tips on what to look for?? Ben
  20. UPDATED!! For sale is my 94 Pathfinder SE, V6, 4x4, auto trans. 153k miles. All power options w/keyless entry, heated mirrors, moonroof, new Alpine speakers, class 3 hitch w/electric brake controller. Maintnance is up to date, 70% tread on tires. ABS light is on, not sure what it is and some bubbling along RF fender and bottom of rockers. I average 20mpgs daily and about 22 highway. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a20/ZeroBar78/Stuff001.jpg Asking $4000. May consider trades for the right kind of car or equivalent or lesser priced sport bike. <-----
  21. I've heard great things about Hankook's dirt tires. Too bad todays rallyx had to be cancelled, of course if they had done it you guys would be calling me to drag your asses out of the mud!!
  22. ^Honestly I don't know, I need to pick up my NASA membership before long and I also need some new Pumas or something for driving and some gloves for driving as well, especially before the July HPDE. This little stuff adds up quickly. I'd also like to get off the 6+ year old rear tires on the Laser and get some wider Falkens all around but I'll be lucky to pull that off before HPDE as well.
  23. ^I can't wait, tags go back on the Laser either next week or the one after.
  24. I like this judge, we need more like him handing down sentences like this.
