This is the one thing down here I'm missing is all the tracks around. The lot the SCCA uses sucks, you have to go almost to Tucson for a good lot. Firebird's fate is still seemingly in the air and not the track M-O is(it's super flat). Inde Motorsports Ranch is the next closest, I'm told it's a nice facility, just it's 3 hours away. Fontana is 4hrs away, Buttonwillow about 6hrs, the rest like Infineon, Laguna and Miller are about a days drive(and Miller is flat as a pancake too). I'm enjoying the show aspect for now as it's free other than driving to the show but now that my car is about ready to go again I need to get back to the track again.

It was Mustang night at the Scottsdale Pavilions last night so I headed out and was surprised to find a DeTomaso Pantera club had come over from SoCal for an event and showed up. I had seen maybe 2 of these car in my life in person before, I counted 43, and they all drove in!! Correct. The Pavilions gets close when Barrett-Jackson is in town in January but usually averages 200-300 cars every weekend. I will be there tonight. Now if you combined all the different meets in Phoenix into 1 location like that it would equal it, it's no joke down here. The meet I usually attend @ 67th Ave and Bell rd has filled the lot most every weekend lately and there are 20 other meets around town similar to this every weekend year round. That is a hell of a sight to see all those cars like that.

That 6 rotor doesn't sound bad idling and revving a bit, sounds like ass driving though. And I will say the Beetle sounds great imo, love that 5cyl sound!!

I think Saugeye are very similar to Walleye in taste, my dad has both in his freezer and I never notice the difference. I know my dad is almost ready, just got his boat back from the shop rewiring it after a short fried the main harness and installed new gps, fish finder, radio and everything.

I'm fine with passing on him, it happens. I like Craft and he's done well. That team up north LOL

That's a big score on the Alcoas, they are expensive as hell and Shelby just made their last run of them a couple months ago though they do pop up once in a while and make a short run if the demand gets high enough.
