I was in Clemson a couple of years ago, naturally wearing OSU garb. Had more than a few stares, cross-eyed looks, and even 1 comment of "are you seriously wearing that??" lol. They have not forgotten that down there. Should be an interesting game against Clemson.

Don't have the info handy but Ford has said they will build 1000 2014.5 models, I would expect these to be accounted for quickly at large sums over sticker. I didn't see any info on exactly what this 2014.5 model will entail.

I like the look of it. Finally some real suspension and some of it's aluminum!! 6-pot 15" front brakes avail!! Getrag = Fail. Classic Ford mediocre rear brakes. If they give me a midrange model like a Mach 1 or Boss 302 that has a Tremec I'll get one for sure, those Getrags are junk though and I want to go to the track with it.

That's what they do down here with the SCCA, if your like me and the only car in the class you get lumped together with all the others in the "street tire" class and Pax'd that way, which means against BRZ's and such which are quite a bit faster on these tight courses. So I just do it for the fun of it until I build or get a class competitive car.

I know the feeling, I sit squarely in SM and am not competitive at all without a lot more upgrades and the best ones move me to CP and I'm not building the car to that level at all.

BTW, has anyone watched scUM play this year? Anyone giving them more than 3 points for this game is nuts, their O-line is even far worse than ours from the past few years.

Some folks in Tucson are trying to do just this, I think it's what your referring to. They keep spinning it up but it doesn't seem to be taking. A friend of mine who lives there said they had a hell of a time trying to build a baseball stadium and doesn't think they could pull off anything of this caliber, I hope he's wrong. I maintain my steadfastness against the NJ deal, Newark is a shithole and though I'm sure they will try clean it up it's just not a place I feel an F1 race should be held. My buddy and I are debating wether to take our cars to Laguna Seca or COTA this spring, I will be happy to drive either so long as it's the Full Course at COTA, I want to drive the real deal.

From a car setup standpoint autocross and drag are vastly different though depending on the car some mods may end up being the same. The best thing for autocross is seat time, just go out and do it, the biggest variable is the nut behind the wheel(you!!). Establish how the car behaves and that will tell you what to modify. I typically brought with me to autocross nothing more than a tire pressure gauge, but it's good to have some basic tools with in case something goes wrong with your car. With SCCA and a lot of other groups you will need a "Snell" rated helmet so make sure it has that rating.
