  1. The GT350s have and are keeping the 15-17 GT lights, and are going through 2019 model year. This'll be interesting to see what it looks like sans camo. Hood looks cool, but the front bumper looks kinda dumb in the teaser shot. I'm predicting 750hp.
  2. I'd settle for a dry morning and a rainy and drifty afternoon. We've been lucky with weather historically so let's.hope it continues.
  3. We're very flexible, if you can only do half a day, we're fine with half entry fee and leaving when you need to. Not saying that'll work this time, but for future reference. Let us know when you sign up, do your share of the working, and it's not a problem.
  4. Then come on out with a fresh mind and you won't regret it. We're constantly riding with each other, talking car setup, mods, tires, ways to make each other faster. Then when the times come out, we lob turds to pass the time until the next event. Let go of all that old stuff and have an open mind.
  5. Hope to have you and your son out whenever you can make it Clay.
  6. Cordell, you're grasping at straws my man. How many autocrosses have you attended in the last 5 years? half a dozen? Most of us do twice that a year, with multiple groups, and have no problems. If you'd like to write specifics about UFO and how we can improve, please do so. Always looking to get better. I will agree that CMS was more fun than CRP, but that was a shit sandwich for all of us. I tried to get other venues, lot out towards Marysville, called NTR also with no reply. CRP is our only spot right now and with the way we run it, which is only apex cones on corners and slalom on the back straight, it's nowhere as confined as other clubs. Even though you took a big shit on UFO, myself included, you're welcome to come out and see if you can break mid pack.
  7. Good, ps any alignment specials going on? I can handle that. Oh snap.
  8. Ufo is usually done around 3. Really depends on the turnout and weather. We try to do 10 runs but if turnout is low we can go until people get bored, had 19 runs one event last year.
  9. ufo autocross website has the schedule, or you can text miller, he'll give you the schedule also
  10. Austin races with bmc when most of cr races with ufo/morpca. Fart noises.
  11. All good. I wouldn't hesitate to attend any central ohio autocross. All are filled with mostly great people who would go beyond expectations to help people.
  12. I'm not sure what your agenda is with these last couple of posts and giant attitude, but you can believe whoever you like.
  13. First of all, the core group of guys that we bring to autocross almost exclusively ran with BMC. Every event, we were there. Some of us even "trophied" in their year end standings, myself included. I never had issues with anyone at the events personally, but some of my friends certainly did and my comments previously reflect that. Secondly, they started catering the courses to small cars. They started coning off the course to make it difficult for what I consider a normal car to be competitive. A few of us started noticed it becoming a trend after a few events and started having conversations with them to see if it would continue being tightly constructed or if they would open it back up as it used to be. This wasn't just an observation from our friends, it was noticed by almost everyone we spoke with. Never really got any real answers, but we hoped for the best. It simply wasn't fun paying $40 and struggling to get a clean lap. But we kept coming back. The event where 2 of us left, myself included, wasn't contentious from what I remember. We were annoyed that yet again, the course was so confined. We asked for our money back and were granted it. From what I remember, we only wanted half our money back since we made a couple runs, they gave all of it back though. I don't remember name calling or anything really. Is this some sort of "story" in the anals of BMC? I'm friendly with Stewart and Rick who run it now and were key organizers back them. In fact, Rick actually bought a Mustang. We had a few conversations about this very topic and he said they had plans on opening it up again.
  14. LOL creative story there. I'll raise my hand as the Mustang bro in your fictional piece if you have any questions on what actually happened.

    New daily

I'd already have a C5 S6 if they came in manuals. Or D2 S8. Most of the swapped ones are 200k mile POS'.

A manual Allroad would be an awesome 20th car, but so many other's I'd have. Love them normally, color and OG "dual center" wheels are bad ass. Just the wrong trans for me to like it.

    New daily

That's exactly what it is, even "lifted with knobbies."
  18. Looks good and the mod list is impressive. Hope to see you at autocross or a track day.
  19. Forgot about you saying that. They were "big" in the GTI/R world 4-5 years ago, no experience with them.
  20. I've had HPS on my GTI, and now have stoptech street performance on my dads GTI. Both good, very comparable pads. Carbotech and sister brand Gloc have good street pads supposedly, 1521 in carbotech and GS-1 in Gloc. No experience with those, but i've used their race pads with decent results. A buddy on here has a BMW too and went with the PoverStop track day pads and is happy with them for the cost. For pleb driving, most any name brand upgraded pad will be fine.
