    Nope. I get that you like to talk, but you're simply not right here. The standard gt and gt pp will not show an appreciable difference in straight line speed... I didn't fit in anything available used back then. I'd have prefer to buy my car used now, and saved the money, and gotten the premium Package, but big guy problems.

    Easily. Base automatics, contrary to what's hot right now, have worst resale of them all. I got 4250 off my 15 in august of 15. And 0%. Shitty thing is I'm just ahead of value even after all that. I can't advise buying any of these cars new, they all tank the first 2-3 years.

    Nope, you can option the 3.55 gear separately, and paired with a base GT and the 10 speed, you're at 38,085. They all come with LSDs, it's just a clutch pack diff instead.

    Stack the deck to fit your argument if you'd like but the actual exchanging price for knowledgeable consumers are quite different between the 2. There are people paying 45k for new GTs when you can get used GT350s for 45-50 all day long. It's insanity.

    I agree, I think PSU last year and us this year make more sense than what they did. HOWEVER, it could be revisionists history considering we know the outcome of last year LOL.

    Yep, that makes perfect sense and if that is your primary concern/focus then I agree. Thanks for the explanation! While I certainly have enjoyed easing into track driving and lap times (Konis ordered and sway bars in garage), I've also seen the light of sliding a car around at reasonable speeds. Great fun, and something that makes a good LSD mandatory.

    I don't claim to know 911s very well, but I simply do not accept this statement. I'm not aware of a car where a LSD wouldn't make it better. Not necessarily faster, but more fun? I'm listening...

    Cool project, good luck! I'd try to work the LSX into it over the LT1 obviously, but after some hard work that should be a fun car.

    I like the idea. Automatic kills it, wheels are way too big which require the not actually low ride height, and bro look. That intake path is crazy, can't be worse, can it? Decent idea, but just executed wrong, imo. Isn't this what convertibles are for?
