    I see no snow!

    Remix is better lol
  2. VW decided to not allow the Stability control (not traction control) to disabled in the 09+ cars. Son of a bitch. Stupid fucking assholes. Maybe I will drive my wife to work and use her car.....
  3. The SHO looks great on paper, but isn't my thing. It has all of the boxes checked with regards to features, hp, awd etc. Go take an Audi A6 4.2/535 to the Ford dealer and compare them back to back and there really isn't much to compare. The new Taurus is also HUGE on the outside, and fairly cramped on the inside. I couldn't get the front seat back far enough to even think about buying one. The back seat also doesn't have much leg room either. Overall I wasn't a huge fan of the new SHO.
  4. Look dude, you need to realize that the people here are trying to help you. We were all 18 once and we have all done stuff wrong at one point because we were young and didn't know any better. We wasted money on things we wouldn't do again, and have learned from our mistakes. What most are trying to do is let YOU learn from OUR mistakes. Read lots of internet forums regarding your car, read as much as you can, ask questions, and do this BEFORE you buy parts. It will only save you money. So don't act like a baby when you come on here acting like a 10 year old throwing garbage parts on your car when everyone is only trying to help. Grow a pair, do some research and take the advice of those that know WAY more than you do. Good luck
  5. Awesome, glad everything went well. So you got those results with just a removal and cleaning?
  6. Without a doubt, B then. You can get some NICE cars for 30k+, and get to enjoy them everyday. S4/RS4, M3/335, 535/545/550, E500/E55, C55, Q7, X5, ML, A6 4.2 etc etc Once you have something like this, its hard to give it up. I value having a nice daily.
  7. Price range to be spent on option B is required. I would go with option B though.
  8. W body, or some cheap VW like stated above.
  9. My dads B6 S4 had the filter on the top of the engine, so does my GTI. They eliminated the need to remove the shield to change the oil on the 08.5+ VW's. I assume they did the same thing for Audi as well since most engines are shared. Removing and installing the shield takes an extra 5 minutes, if that. Also, you don't need the drain tool, but it helps.

Inb4CHANGE!!!!!! I agree with above statements.
  11. They have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.
  12. I have never liked the rear design of the coupe. It is too tall, and doesn't flow well with the front of the car. It needs to look more like a traditional coupe, the current style reminds me of the saab and mazda 6 hatch style, which I am not a fan of. Wagon>Sedan>Coupe
  13. agreed, and being able to take a guest is huge as well. I went a lot the first 2 months, then the novelty wore off, and went less. Still glad I did it, and will do it again asap.
  14. Supposedly blackwing is nicer, and offers more options such as clays and outdoor shooting etc. However the shooting benefits of NASR are much better. When I had it, you got free shooting for you and 1 guest M-F and 1/2 off Sat, Sun and holidays. Considering I just shoot my 9mm, NASR was perfect for me.

    RIP Bmw

That sucks about the car man. However, when you read your post, did it actually make sense to you? If so, wow.

have you calmed down enough to give us any more info? pics?
  17. If you don't mind, can you keep me up to date on what you do to her car? They already offer a few different catch can designs that are plug and play, although pricey. It would be nice to see what kind of results you have if you build one yourself. My dad isn't as proactive as he once was when it comes to cars, so I need to make sure I keep up on the FSI stuff for him (my car is the new TSI).
  18. That won't be a problem for my dad at all. (has FSI GTI with 16k miles on it) Do you mean new pcv system as in new oem parts? or a new redesigned system? How do you check for proper function of the pcv system?
  19. Can this be prevented altogether or at least partially? VW redesigned the 2.0T for 2008.5, so hopefully the TSI's do not have this problem.
  20. The FSI cars are known to have their issues. Cam follower problems, and carbon buildup are its main problems. They also blow PCV valves and diverter valves when the power is increased. What is the course of action on her car?
  21. I'm laughing. (at you, not with you).
  22. Cool, so just meet you guys up there at 730 right? 3444 S High st?
  23. Just had eagles pizza about an hour ago, but I am sure I could eat the dag as well!!!
