  1. Yep, exactly. However time reduces risk significantly.
  2. Depending on the situation, you are absolutely right. There are times when paying off your house is a good thing, other times not.
  3. Excellent intro. Nice car. Love the superleggeras. Welcome
  4. Without recommending specific assets, which won't mean much to you, getting a financial planner is the answer. Get a diversified portfolio, and wait 30 years. Make sure to get one who is very active with his investmenst, who monitors, and re-proportions the portfolio often. How much control you give the planner is up to you, but unless you are emersed in the financial world, it might be best to give him the basic rules of your investing, and let him do everything else.
  5. By paying for a house with cash, I would be SAVING $300,000. Total of my 30 year loan is over $460,000. The money would be "working" for me, just not in the way YOU are thinking of it. Interest is a bitch.
  6. aparently he isn't interested in anything but investment options. I agree 100% with you btw (boosted98)
  7. That would be good. Body type, interests and sexual orientation as well:asshole:
  8. VERY clean car. Really like the color and the cobra/GT wheels. Usually not a big fan of putting new gen wheels on older gen cars, but yours looks really good. welcome.
  9. I would pay off my car, and my house that is being built right now. Those 2 things would add up to 185k. Then mod my car a bit, and buy new furniture for the house. I know it would be better to invest, but I would do the above. It would free up 2k/month.
  10. read the stickies. Need pics and maybe some more details on you and your car/bike.

  12. Care to explain? I misread the info, thinking that the turbo hp/tq was going to be what the N/A engine produces. Then explained that the 2.0T is decent for what it is, nothing more. ?????? I really like the G35/37. Great value, great performance, great features. But yes, I am a German car fan.
  13. I actually didn't read the article. I read about it on TCL and aparently took someone elses word for it, who is retarded. Makes more sense now, I was wondering how the tq would be lower than hp on a modern turbo engine. Jones 1, Aaron 0 I tip my hat good sir. Faggot
  14. FYI, its the same car, different engine. Not sure how it is ugly-er. They are rating the 2.5T at 210hp/195tq. The new 2.0T in the A4 is 211/258 and is MUCH faster than our 200hp 2.0Ts. You are acting like you didn't know this why? With a manual trans, the A4 can do 15 flat. Not bad for a 200hp, 3500lb AWD car. Low 14's with a chip. Not bad if you ask me. The Tiptronic sucks the life out of the engine though.
  15. Probably not, according to this: Cadillac commits to V or Platinum models on ALL vehicles. http://www.autoblog.com/2010/01/12/detroit-2009-cadillac-commits-to-v-or-platinum-editions-for-al/#comments
  16. what a douche bag. By linking you to the website, he not only gave you the answer to your question, but most likely the answer to all of the remaining questions of, phone number, location, services offered etc. :gtfo:

Excellent commercial. hahaha Poop.....doesn't count......SHUT THE FUCK UP!
  18. After looking more at the pictures, it does look pretty good. The interior is very nice as well. I am glad to see the domestic cars are actually putting in an effort to make quality interiors. Looking forward to the next product to come from both GM and Ford.
  19. You don't have to go bonkers with styling to make the car fresh and exciting. Also, if I was GM, I certainly would try to move away from the Deville "target crowd."
  20. On the right path, but still pretty blah looking on the outside. Inside looks very nice; its not like they could have gone backwards. Their interiors are finally catching up to their price tag.........yay (sarcasm) Solid car overall, but not something I would think about owning.
  21. When I was looking a few months ago, I found 3 2006 V's with under 50k miles, extended transferable warranties, in MINT condition, for 17-20k. Like everybody said, for 90k, unknown maint and dubs, 14.5 isn't out of the ordinary, if anything, its not "crazy" enough to make me take a risk on it.
  22. I just threw it on vwvortex's "The Car Lounge," so hopefully it gets some quality hits from the Ohio guys. Also put it on ohiovw.com
