It does look like an HDR image. I used photoshop and a filter processor called Topaz. I think it looks pretty cool!

I do agree that cars are getting more and more complex however the average car is only getting better. Toyota Camry V6's running low 14s, GTI's with dual clutch transmissions, midsized sport sedans packing up to 556hp (new V) its pretty impressive.

Hyundai has really impressed me lately though. Solid cars at solid prices. A forumla that the domestics can't seem to grasp. If they have a great car, they price it out of the market. They have 0 respect anymore in the market hence needing quality cars at prices BELOW the competition. Honda and Toyota put out solid cars, but their lack of enthusiast cars and their semi high prices provide nothing that I would buy.

lol, so all Audi/VW's are lemons huh? Proper maintenence on any car goes a long way. It might need a bit more attention than a Civic but its worth the extra effort. Potential buyers need to be ready for potentially more problems, and more costly ones at that. However if the buyer isnt ready or willing to put up with that or do the work himself then an Audi/VW isnt in the cards. I certainly wouldn't give up my GTI for a new Civic Si because of reliability problems.

The 1.8T in the GTI is the same as the A4.......... The problems associated with the S4 do not carry over into the A4 lineup. Your call either way, but Audi's are reliable with proper maint.

Well there is some truth to this, however it also pertains to pretty much ALL german cars. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW etc will all be on the high side of maint/mod costs. The 2.7 Bi-turbo is known to be a maint heavy engine. Also, when coupled with the smaller A4 class, heat tends to be its worst nightmare killing turbos, seals and pretty much all rubber products because of the tiny engine bay. However in the larger A6 chassis, the 2.7T is much more reliable. They are not known to kill the turbo's, but the seals and rubber stuff still gets abused. I am an Audi/VW guy all the way, so I would be looking for a B6 (2002-2005) A4 Avant 1.8T Quattro manual. They can be had for around 10k for the avant and under 10k for the sedan. Add a chip and injectors and you have a fun to drive daily driver. For 10k you have a lot of choices. Mustang GT F-body GTP SRT-4 WRX My list would be MKIV(99-06) Jetta/GTI 1.8T/VR6 B6 A4 1.8TQM You can also pick up a good B5 S4 sedan for around 10k, but as stated, they are very expensive to keep usually.

Thanks for doing that. I honestly don't know what I did. lol. I messed with a few settings and saved it. I tried about a dozen different attempts to duplicate the effects with no luck. I spent over 6 hours on my car over the weekend. Wash, clay, wash, polish, and wax. Just messing around and waiting for some better weather for some quality pics. We should get together and take some pics.

Did they ever have an "M" Package? I know that their "sport" package had "M" on the steering wheel, shift knob and wheels, but I don't think it was called an "M" package. ZHP is bad ass, but all other non M3 E46's are all kind of plain.
