  1. Now that the absolute bottom has been established, we know how to price this vehicle.
  2. Thats interesting, since it's a 2001, and not white, its worth the least of the C5 Zs. However, super low miles, and mods seem to play into higher Corvette prices. Doesn't provide brands for anything but the supercharger... Hard to tell, but low 20s would be the high, IMO.
  3. In for this, need our kitchen done within next 2-3 months.
  4. He has his. Agreed, beautiful.
  5. You're welcome. #Blackpaintmatters
  6. Since when? Not the case on the 5th gen. Yes, you are, that suspension on any car is a must have option. Unless you can detail a car using quality products, black looks terrible, IMO. This.
  7. Eh, if you think about it, sadly it's still a great deal. If it posts up GT350 level performance, for 10k less, what's not to like? Cars are getting ridiculously expensive. Depressing IMO.
  8. I was thinking 4k, but it sounds like it'll be about 4,500. So that puts a base 1SS with 1LE just at $42,000. If it can throw up performance with the GT350, it'll be a hell of a car in the 42-50k range. I still don't like the looks.
  9. Cool. I got my 6th and 5th gens confused. 285 square on 10" wide right?
  10. You and me both. No reason the performance package doesn't have 10" wide square setup at minimum, if they want to stagger, a 10/11 like the 1LE would be nice, and some wider/better rubber. That's the hard part with comparing cars in magazines...
  11. Curious if they stick with the $3,500 package price or raise it to 4k? They always come out with better wheel and tire specs than the Mustang, that's for sure.
  12. Keep in mind there are 3 performance trims on gt350. Base and tech, track, and r. I bet it'll beat the base, rival the track due to having better tires, and lose to r. They'll still pick with Gt350 though, regardless of the numbers.
  13. Hopefully my plane is fitted with winter tires and a pilot from buffalo.
  14. My point in all of this is that the camaro has gone the correct way in all of this, but even so, its still a paltry 100lbs difference when compared similarly. Add my big ass though, well, yeah...
  15. What is the weight of a no option 6th camaro ss? Whatever the lightest transmission is (usually manual). The camaro in this article is as close to a base as has been weighed, only 1500 in options. I'm using that as the weight of a base camaro. The base performance package cars are in the 3720-3760 range. The true no option GT is right at 3700lbs. Its the nav, 20" wheels, leather, and the other 15k in options that ports these things up over 3800lbs.
  16. So your comment above was aimed only at turbocharging? I did contribute, I was trying to get you to elaborate on your post above, which I didn't agree with. There are 4 people on CR alone with SuperChargers, all of them would gladly answer any questions I had. I wouldn't buy either, because i can't fit in those bitch ass cars.
  17. I'd totally have blown the engine in my 4 cylinder 318 instead. :fa:
  18. LOL, damn, I had the R for 2 years, had a ton of fun with it, and traded it in for another fun car, and another, and then another. You're right, that wasn't fun at all... Actually it was awesome. But you're right, continue with your ridiculous comparison on how someone asking for power advice on a FRS turns into another self involved CTS-V post.
  19. I'd have spent less on a CTS V with supercharger.
  20. Good lord, yes, lets compare a FRS/BRZ to a 2 ton 10 year old car. Also new vs used price comparisons too!!! Amazing! Forgot, this is CR... Golf R was never tuned, btw.
  21. You're too smart (maybe not ) to not understand power to weight...
  22. Yep. American Muscle PP reps in 19x10 (wider than 9/9.5 stockers) weigh less than the OEMs LOL.
  23. Casey, LOL, You've always had trouble comparing similarly optioned cars. Literally in every single thread, you want to quote base camaro weights, and loaded mustang weights... It's roughly 100lbs.
  24. 100% agree. 100lbs LOL. Cool, thanks. I'm game. Yeah, and the PP wheels are lighter believe it or not, but still weigh 32lbs front and 33lbs rear. LOHFUCKINGL.
