  1. Those of you bitching about 3 pedals know you’re just in the minority at this point right? I like my manuals too, but there’s no sense in whining about it.

I'll gladly carry the minority view on almost everything. The average person is a fucking retard.

Also, you couldn't be more wrong about the complaining part. Many vehicles have had an outcry from loyalists and those who were upset a manual wasn't offered, and the MFGs listened and brought them back.

If I'm drag racing stop light to stoplight against plebs on the street, AWD turbo dual clutch. If I'm trying to set lap records to earn a living on a race track, dual clutch.

Street cars on street tires around seas of accords, pilots and crvs? Give me a god damn break, and the third pedal. I guarantee you I'll be having more fun than that GTR that just blew past me.

  2. I'm going to have to go against the grain here. I just flat out don't like it. It doesn't look like a Corvette at all. I understand this is a prototype and the final result will look a bit different, but still, it won't be far off from this.

The looks won't change one bit...

    Um...

  4. The 6th gen Camaro is the best car of the 3 in most ways. But one of its strengths is also a weakness when it comes to sales. The car is smaller and lighter than the Mustang and Challenger, but that also makes it less practical and tougher for people to fit into. Also, people don't seem to like the high beltline and smaller windows when it comes to visibility inside the car.

Its dimensionally identical to a s550 on the outside. Its significantly smaller inside, like, much smaller. To elaborate, like, wtf were they smoking to make it so small when the mustang is huge small.

  5. I owed the Tremor prior to Mitch. I bought it with 25K miles on it. It had rust even then. Never owed a truck that had frame rust and bubbles under the paint that wasn't 20 years old with 200K miles on it. You're argument over the "PO treatment" is invalid.

    Jesse, you're right

    Uh...

  6. Care to elaborate? I'm actually rry interdasted.

One more strike against Mondays my man...

Driving home from work Monday pulling into the neighborhood I heard something weird. It sounded like a far away choo choo train chugging along. Then I notice its sluggish.

As I pull into the garage it was making a rattle/knocking sound pretty noticeably. I let it sit and ate dinner and came back out and started it and it was still making the noise. Checked dip stick and under the car and all good.

Took it in Thursday and diagnosed with a broken wrist pin on cyl 2. Wall destroyed. Who knows what caused it, but full long block ordered. People were estimating $20k.

  7. And it's time to pass the wheels along, maybe he had a use for them.

I dont care what you do with them, they're yours. I wanted them out of my garage, you made that happen!

Good job HBK. You bought a car. What options besides MT did you acquire on this thing? If Tom is giving those wheels away, please take them and wrap them in some sticky bologna.

They need plastidipped and new tires but would look better than the 16s his came with.

  8. I had a post typed complaining about the length of these new midsized pickups, it's crazy. With a crew cab and short bed too long for my residential garage. And if its sitting outside no reason to get a midsized imo. The gladiator is on it's own though. Out of this world cool that it was made in todays ever shrinking cool shit club.
  9. Ford could nail the Bronco not as a truck-like thing, but with the broad appeal of Wrangler-like features in a bigger platform. Wrangler essentially owns that market but I know a lot of folks that would own one if they were a bit bigger.

Slightly larger would be great but for my wife and I (her car) what eliminates the wrangler 4 door is towing capacity. Its pathetic. The great part of the gladiator is the 7500lb tow capacity that would allow it to tow a car. If the wrangler gets the 7500lb capacity we would look at that over a gladiator and here's to hoping the bronco keeps the rangers 7500lb capacity as well.

  10. FTFY. : gabe :

    ...won't argue that point.

I (and prob others) was unaware. My bad. I took it as you lol'ing at Tom's offer as in "it's just a V6 lol". Lack of context got me.

I voiced my opinion to get a v8. I still stand by that and would have gotten the older 2011+ s197 5.0 to get it vs the v6 s550. With that being said anyone out there using their car is a winner in my book. I actually think someone tracking a v6 mustang is much cooler than the guy hard parking a gt/350/500. I also find it ironic that the people picking on his car purchase the most drive literal shit boxes, like you've pointed out multiple times.
