22 years ago I was 10. My 5th grade teacher told us to "do a research report and presentation on anything that you're passionate about". I did mine on the the Dodge Viper because my dad got me a die-cast I thought was really cool. She gave me a bad grade. No specific marks toward my detail, spelling, grammar or presentation. I was a fan fav in front of the class. She told my parents the grade was "because he can't be passionate about cars".
Now it's 2019, she's dead (RIP) and I have my Viper.

All these people buying 997.1s not knowing they have the same problems at 996 motors is a secret love of mine. Act superior but buy the same turd as a 996.

Thank you so much for getting a manual.
Wives-who-drive-manuals-club hi-five.
Hope the diff isn't as retarded as the m3h diff
I cringed as I read expecting the dct and was pleasantly surprised it was manual. 3 way wife German manual high 5!

Nice car, curious what you think of it when you get some miles on it.
-
I don't think you'd enjoy it more than your car either....but considering I'm looking for a daily for the wifey I'm sure you can see why all of a sudden that's the leading contender.
I can. Cool car for sure.

for a fun street car in that price segment I'd buy a M2 Competition before any of them.
I'd have to drive one but doubt I'd enjoy it more than my car. I was severely disappointed in the F80 M3 sedan I drove. Power delivery of all that tq was terrible, sounded like ass and generally was uninspiring.
I like the M2 comp on paper but m3h.

Hmm, zl1 1le, GT350R or a wrx...

So call Tim at Track First and talk to him about it. Anyone on here will just be regurgitating stuff from websites or Tim himself...
I got 15% off my helmet order with him just last week.

I dislike pretty much everything about Hawk pads after trying Gloc, carbotech, PFC, Ferrodo, cobalt.
This. Haven't tried Cobalt though.
-
The fact they went dct makes it a distinct possibility that it'll be faster on track, and they already stated it's a 10 second car so it's possible.
-
That article was cute in a very mustang specific way but not good for much else. Who's arguing dual clutches are slower? Who's arguing a dual clutch shouldn't be an option? He's also wrong about the original vw dsg, it is a true dual clutch.
-
It wouldn't have been fair stock let alone now, Casey ..
-
Yeah, nothing like a nice I6.
I'm not the one bitching about progress. Nice manual, where'd you get it from, Charlton Heston's chariot?
Nah, you're just focusing your argument on "faster" when 99% of people want a manual for involvement, fun and resale value. You're not the fastest, always someone faster.
Cool auto, said noone.

Front end looks better with the bumper bar painted body color with stripes that someone photoshopped.

America voted with their wallets, and they have for decades. Keep it up fatsos and soon it will be nothing but SUVs too (until gas prices go through the roof again lol). With that being said, as fun and awesome as manuals are, new transmission technology is superior to manuals, welcome to the future, bitches.
Cue Not Brian with a "cry about non-manuals started pack".
Which one of you wants to get dragged around 270 first by a DCT?
And exactly how many new manuals have you contributed to the cause with?
Ill run you on 270 btw. Why not.
And gotta love that new 15 year old technology :dumb:

although at this point it's got so much damn tech in it there's really nothing separating a Z06 from something like a 458 except prestige.
Wellallrightythen.
-
Very cool.
Ford bought some Ferrari 458 motors when designing the voodoo motor. Was it Acura bought Rahals 991 gt3 for nsx development I think?
Cool stuff.
-
I think it looks great.
This WILL be the most capable track weapon to ever wear a Mustang badge. It won't be the funnest one to drive.
Looks like a gtr (front), dct, your description of it's expected performance sounds like a gtr, you like it, confirmed, it's a gtr.
-
I'm not saying anything other than what I posted.
With that said I do think it's ludicrous how mfg decontent manual cars, or only provide manuals in stripped down base motors essentially stacking the deck from the get go, then point ting to the lack of interest in manuals as why they won't bring the others here with a manual.

Nobody really needs to buy an audi ever again anyway. They don't even give us the good RS cars.So let's get this straight - Audi is lol for going all automatic, but the moment someone else makes a joke about it suddenly they aren't LOL as you rush to defend them? Pick a lane, take your midol, and sit down.
I was reaponding to your post that had nothing to do with the transmission. My response didn't either. They're producing more RS cars for the us than ever before.
The fact we agree that Audi sucks is something I'll have to live with.
-
And blind left leg amputees.
-
Do you ever get anything right? You just out words down, to hell with reality.
-
and of those how many are a three pedal manual in the US? yeah, that's what I thought.
In the past all we ever got was the RS4 and RS6 (and not the avant) and not every year, while everyone else got the RS2, RS6 avant, etc....
How many are in Europe you waste of space?
CRs take on cars 15 years later.
