  1. You and me both, brother. If by hold its own, you mean be able to be driven between cones, then sure. Actually, maybe not even that. Miata club LOL.
  2. zero chance a 4200lb blunt instrument will replace a 2700lb scalpel.
  3. max capacity, long trip, through mountains, what could go wrong
  4. Very similar list to mine after I drove it. Great cabin, wheel and shifter were great, love the looks, handling, pedal feel, etc, all great. Good noise. The bad was the lack of tq, and the bad MPG, even if you drive it easy. I'd pass, too many cream puff M3s to get one like that, IMO.
  5. Looks like fun, lots of 15 mustangs there! I'd like to do another rally soon.
  6. 13.0@107 roughly for s5, and 12.7@114 for m3. As stated, the s5 will feel faster unless the m3 is boiled.
  7. I'm taking about his ex 3.0t s5. Who buys the 4.2 cars? :gabe:
  8. Have you driven one? It's a super high rpm engine, that requires serious motivation to keep it boiled and pulling hard. I wouldn't be surprised if the s5 feels faster in real world daily driving. You really have to Rev this car out for it to feel fast. Also do your research on the rod bearings.
  9. Only thing I'd change, is the sunroof, really. Make sure you fit with a helmet in there...
  10. I subscribe to the very aggressive break in method.
  11. I've used M1 on all the 2.0Ts I purchased New (2), and because of my break in, never had oil burning in 5k change intervals. This used one I just bought, I think burns oil. I'll be monitoring going forward, but it is what it is.
  12. entertaining and good for the most part, thought the last 30 minutes were over done, but really enjoyed it
  13. doesn't matter what color it is/how it looks after this
