Grew up eating them. My grandparents (who raised me as a infant/toddler) had a bunch of fruit trees, pomegranate included. My aunt in Vegas had a couple, too. Good as hell, but will stain the shit out of everything!

Actually, they're (those opposed) worried it will allow more than 1 casino. The wording of the initiative allows loopholes for more than one casino to be built in the state by Indian tribes.

I hate this shit. I wish they could just be completely up front with these kind of things. I'm definitely going to have to read more into this and I"m decided, at this point. It's just you don't know what to believe unless you read it yourself. I don't know the link to the actual issue, but I did find this on BallotPedia.org. http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Ohio_Issue_6_(2008)

My buddy and I tried to find it around 2 or 3 and didn't see anyone. I couldn't remember exactly where it was at and we weren't coming from home for me to check. Didn't think I wouldn't be able to find it.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Fuck, that made me laugh.

Two bottles.

The GOP will probably find a way to take credit for it. On a positive note, I just got my car back last week and will be doing some major driving this weekend!

The "/" part. Oh, and that "thread" thing.

Two quick points I'd like to make, but first... I see where you're going in your first paragraph and you do have a point, however: 1. The majority of the public does not see the "returns" equal to the "effort" of said corporations. 2. Really? Are you really using the same fear mongering already fed to the American public? Besides, some would say it was our "keeping our noses in other countries business" that raised the ire of many would be "terrorists" nations, factions, etc. Now, I don't believe it's possible to just sit back and pretend not to care; to never get involved. That's impossible and irresposible. Maybe, just maybe, we haven't been making all the right decisions or stepping over our boundaries.

So, now you're blaming him for spending the campaign funds that he's been so successful at getting? Should I pick a place to start or can you figure it out on your own and save me time?

I heard it was working with Obama. My last place in Texas, I was on the back porch smoking a cig and watching the squirrels when one ran along a line to a transformer, blowing it, cutting the electricity and frying himself in the process. He immediately just dropped stiffly to the ground. It was a "holy shit" kinda thing but I felt kinda bad for the little bastard.

How many of you have actually tested this? I just had to the first time I got a turbo car. My current one spools in reverse, though, I don't know why it wouldn't.

Whether John McCain is a good man and truly believes in his country (which I do believe) is irrelevant due to the people he's chosen to surround himself with and to help represent him. He's completely flipped from who he once was and that's an immediate red flag for me. I think the reasons why Obama supporters are so quick to answer why they would vote Obama is because the evidence as to why they wouldn't vote for McCain is so strong. I think many people are having a hard time trusting any politician at this point and truly believe Obama is the lesser of two evils, so to speak, especially when both sides claim to have the plan to save the country. It's like how they teach to pass a multiple choice test. If you can't figure out which one's the answer outright, start eliminating the ones you know are wrong.

That's pretty sweet. The illusion is incredible.

Racist. Seriously. Don't worry, you aren't the only one who's posted in this thread. Her race shouldn't determine whether or not you take stock in what she says. The fact some of you are so quick to discount her simply based on her race is not only a sign of racism (as there's many "flavors"), but a sign of a judgemental and ignorant thought process. I'm not saying this to bust balls or be a dick, I'm doing it in the hopes that some of you who don't realize this train of thought, will correct it. You cannot make a rational decision with this kind of thinking. It closes your mind.

Porsche has accused Nissan of cheating in the GT-R's record at Nurburgring

Recently, within the two first episodes of Top Gear Australia, the Stig drove the GTR around their track in Australia. I can't remember what all cars they've tested on it so far, but I do know the Ford GT was faster than the GTR. -
Scientists Discover Fish in Act of Evolution in Africa’s Greatest Lake Should this go in the politics section? Anyway, for those interested in animals and this kinda thing... http://ecoworldly.com/2008/10/07/scientists-discover-fish-in-act-of-evolution-in-africas-greatest-lake/ And the opposite of that: "Reverse Evolution" Discovered in Seattle Fish http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/05/080520-fish-evolution.html

Google’s Mail Goggles Prevents Drunk Emailing Google released a useful new Gmail feature yesterday in its labs, which could help prevent the intoxicated from sending embarrassing late-night emails they might regret in the morning. When activated, the program will force a user to solve a series of math problems before allowing any message to be sent. They are not terribly difficult, but do serve as an extra line of defense in what can be a very dangerous habit. The service is set by default to kick in only on weekend nights, but you can change the settings to apply whenever. As for drunk dialing and texting, you’re still on your own. http://blog.wired.com/business/2008/10/googles-mail-go.html

haha Awesome. If she'd been a bit more proficient with that triangle choke, she would've ended it early. He had no ground skills. He should've copped a feel. It might've thrown her off.

You guys are welcome. I finally got the car up and running again. I demanded cheaper gas and here we are.

Well, after watching the first episode: The Australian hosts don't have quite the level of chemistry and humor as their British counterparts at this point but fans of the Stig will be happy to know he's gone "down under". I believe the original film crew may be a bit better, too. It's mostly noticable during filming of track runs and the like. Final thought: If you're a fan of the original Top Gear, I recommend it as it's more of the same; damn near literally. It follows the exact same forumla. You can always go and look it up here: http://www.tv.com I'm sure it'll be there, I haven't looked, yet, since I just watched it instead. Looks like the 2nd episode will have a little Holden vs Ford action.
-
Just thought I'd let you guys know that the first two episodes are out. Didn't even know it. Happen to see them while perusing some tv show torrents. Downloaded them but haven't watched them, yet. I'm not a "review" kinda guy, but I'll try to give a bit of rundown once I've watched the first one unless someone else steps up first.

We got this for the gf's Cougar a couple months ago. I meant to see if anyone else got one but simply forgot. Completely. Even about ours. Thanks for the reminder. <-- Me. I am curious as to why you guys are just now getting it, though. You'd think they would have sent them all out at once, especially for a company that's had so many customer's that could be affected. And has anyone else noticed the Chinese are slowly trying to off us? Are they trying to 'thin the herd'? I mean, they can't match our war technology, but shit, there's enough of them to row over here and put up a fight.
