I've worked at The Northend Wrench for about 5 1/2 years now and I love it. I started as a clean up boy and have worked my way up to a tech position. I def. could not do any desk work, and my job is constantly changing. Pay is what is to be expected for a newb in the field that is not ASE certified, but I'm not complaining.

Welcome, I totally respect someone that wrenches on their own car. And knows what they are doing. Looks like a fun car, when it's running.

This is why they are great cars for kids to attempt to modify. Because they are cheap. For the rest of the world that just wants a reliable car they are great. They also make great first cars for kids.

Drives the wrong wheels lol. The 4 cylinder 2.3t seems to be a pretty solid motor, I've maintained one for a customer since 40K it is now at 156K and still strong. We have one customer with a 9-5 that has gone through 2 factory turbos, but I think it has the V6. Lot of people stray away from Saab's b/c they don't know much about them and they are "weird" they really aren't that bad. GM had a lot of say motor wise with the newer Saabs and you can see that. And the V6 motors are just about identical to the Saturn V6's. We actually ordered parts for a 9-3 Arc Wagon from Saturn North b/c Saab didn't have the stuff, but I think that may be irrelevant b/c the 900se's have the 4 banger. Please by all means correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok, science is science, but if people are painting their intercoolers and that is it and they are looking at SOLID FACTUAL NUMBERS and they are 20* cooler it must be doing something. As for the rest of you I thought I was a ricer.....geeez. Why advertise? I suppose if it is a car normally associated with a forced induction sure, don't paint it. But if you have a Supra, or MR2 where most are NOT turbo, or half are not turbo and people ask you if it is a turbo why not paint it?

No shit if you are going to go whining to the government for money, do you expect the government to allow them to do whatever they want especially after they got themselves in this mess? I wouldn't trust the companies to solve it..... I'm with you, less government, but if you are going to ask for money from them it has to be expected that the government will have a say in their fairy money that is growing on trees somewhere.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn right down the street from there last year. They were sending fighter jets out over the water all afternoon the one day, and looked like they were practicing with some of the helicopters right over the water 300yds off the beach. I spotted a MKI MR2 in your pics lol.

I had an auto....once. Didn't last long to say the least, I got so bored in the car. It's unfortunate that there is a group of people that have to ruin something for another group of people. It's the people that throw shit all over the inside of their car aka food, don't clean the inside ever and I have to ask the question at work "How can you stand driving this?"
