  1. It looks to me like it will change the stance the car has or the attitude in the front. Looks like the rabbit nose is closer to the ground. For a clean look that you guys are known for i think it would be neat. I like stuff like this which is why i enjoy watching what you guys do to your car. Sort of like the GLI swap on the older gens. I like the Rabbit front end better.
  2. Private schools are pretty neat, I attended one K-12 enjoyed the people very much. Although I was reading that due to budget cuts or something that private schools tuition is going to go up again, Catholic H.S. is at $6800 right now per student per year, with discounts for multiple students.

    hello

    Welcome, nice Jeep!
  4. Must have blocked it, I saw it and am not a member yesterday, now I can't either.

    Brakes

I know Akebono's were the factory fix for the Grand Cherokees brake issues as well.... Good to know.
  6. What a retard, felt bad until she claimed "well i was only going 15mph" IN A 65! What the hell did you expect...

Man there are so many companies out there and we don't consistantly put the same stuff on cars, we pick what's best for the car. Hard to keep them straight.
  8. Seen a ton of ignition coils, ball joints and squeaky control arm bushings. Thats it, otherwise most of them at the shop seem to be dry underneath fluid wise. We just had one come in with 170K and it was dry underneath.
  9. Tanabe has got to be hands down one of the quietest 3" exhausts I have heard, had 3" downpipe, gutted cat, resonator and muffler all 3". It was so damn quiet even under WOT. It was not stock quiet, but for a 3" it was quiet, no I don't have obnoxiously loud cars either.

Adaptive One is the best pad Napa has available, Akebono is essentially Brembo for all intensive purposes. Napa's ultra premium, Brembo, Centric, and Zimmerman (for Porsche's and other high end European cars) is all we install rotor wise.
  11. I know I don't, but I also know that my boss has me do things for the first time the hard way then introduces the easy tools, so maybe we do, but I haven't had to do one since.
  12. Where was this thing parked at night, we say it back by the Crowne Plaza off Kingshill and Busch, but never found it sitting. Looked sick though, there was another one sort of like this as well, but not the same obviously.
  13. For whatever reason American cars and i do not get along. I do not find them to be easy, I do know of their pay and I suppose if you do them all of the time they are easier, but i personally have done 1 and that is all I want to do thanks lol.
  14. I was going to say waterpump, which are also a delight. Norsthstars make pretty good power imo, but they are just as bad as Subarus for head gaskets.
  15. In relation to Gearhead's post in pics and vids of this truck wrecking on Busch Blvd during Goodguys lol. Anyone want it? http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1270292245.html
  16. Soo thanks for all the help guys! p.s.- and the total thread jack!
  17. Check the mileage and inquire about timing belt service. Some due at 90K, 105K, or 120K. Always a much appreciated reminder of possible upcoming expenses. Also check the oil pressure switch for leakage, it's on the back of the motor above the oil filter.
  18. I'd bet that the MR2 can hold its own in the corners with a Murcialago. Watch the Top Gear video of the stock Mitsubishi Lancar Evo MR out pace the Murcialago. The MR2 is usually underpowered in the straights, but makes up time in the corners. Just like Miatas, etc...
  19. Standin there with clbsinvaders, drinkitdown, janszen, autoxqt, and martin it was pretty crazy, glad he didn't come into the crowd.
  20. If I were you I would get an account on mr2oc.com, it is the best website hands down for MR2's. There you will find any and all information you are looking for. The site is huge because it is a worldwide site and all countries are super active on the site. There is a section for Michigan and Ohio people that is fairly active with people in Central Ohio. The 3.0L swap is really neat there was a huge project write up from a guy that put ITB's on it upon other things to make 300 N/A hp, he then twin turboed the car. It is in the V6 section of the forum somewhere. The only major successful V8 swaps that are documented are in MKI's. The 2.2L 5sfe N/A motor you can spend 5K and almost make 200hp, the N/A 3sge makes 170-200 N/A hp and also take a shit ton of money to build. These are NOT cheap cars to build with the factory Toyota motor options. Even the 3.0L V6 takes a ton of money to build some people say minimum of 5K to complete the swap without modding the motor. TRD superchargers are stupid money 5K alone on ebay. I thought it would be interesting to see a 4g63 MR2, just tossing it out there w/o thinking about how it mounts or anything. Otherwise buy a turbo 3sgte and go from there for the cheapest fast MR2 route. PM me with any specific questions anytime, I would be more than happy to give you my opinion, or answer any questions I can. I have done a bunch of the research and hvae decided to make my car a cornering car, which it was built for, not a straight line car.
  21. Did the a/c belt shred b/c the a/c compressor is locked up? If is possible that it jumped time, but I wouldn't think wd40 would do it since half of the idiots with DSM's and I6 cars run with the upper timing belt cover off so God knows what can fly in there. You probably half to tap into the fuel system through a fuel line and run the pressure gauge inline with the fuel line. Using a T fitting of some sort.
  22. Fan speed problem sounds like the ever popular blower resistor that Chrysler's are notorious for. Air bag light is outside my guessing knowledge, if the horn does not work and the air bag light is on it sounds like a problem with the horn pad on the steering wheel which is also the airbag, but that is just a guess.

    Mustardo

Here it is a Mustang mixed with a Gallardo. Mustang chassis, Gallardo driveline (AWD), motor, interior in a Mustang with a Gallardo rear end molded on. Feast your eyes on it. It was at Goodguys at one of the booths. http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2007/11/mustardo-ford-mustang-equipped-with.html
  24. Decided to get over to goodguys earlier than expected.
  25. Anyone else see the green Integra w/ the 3.2 V6 in it w/o a hood? That was wild lookin. Saw some of CR I parked next to a red fox with black hood/fenders at Giant Eagle, then rode past you guys in an all black 77-9 Z28 Camaro.
