  1. Well this show always seems to be in the shadow of the Goodguys car show, but for those that don't go to the Goodguys show during the day Saturday the 11th head on over to the Arthritis show below are the marques and show info. It is still a super show. Friday July 10th 10am-11pm Saturday July 11th 10am-11pm See here for detailed events during the show http://www.arthritisautoshow.com/schedule.php MARQUES - Good year for Mustang owners to go.... Lincoln Mini Cooper Mustang 30th Anniversary of the Fox Body Reunion Official Website http://www.arthritisautoshow.com/index.php
  2. Bill, not two threads down we are talking about stingrays...you are so like me when it comes to making a decision, but you make a threa about each car you are interested in. How about a pinto turbo w/ the ever popular 2.3t?
  3. Man we had a 16' open car trailer stolen from the shop and it ended up in Adams county, showed up about 4 months after it was stolen with no plates and after the owner replaced it. Don't know where it is now, they just called and told us they found it.
  4. Not supposed to put it in 4wd while turning? Or turn sharply in 4wd. I meant he would put it in 4wd then it would hop severly when making a sharp turn....which should not happen imo. If it does that is goofy.
  5. Camaro is cooler for sure, but I think you have enjoyed the competitiveness of the Corvette with Autocrossing more than you would the Camaro. I say keep the Vette, invest in shifter karts!
  6. You have to drop the tank and that is the "fuel pump assembly" which you do need. That is what like 80% of fuel pumps look like on all cars for awhile now. I'm sure someone else will step in with more detail, but that is the jist of it at least. Depending on the year/make/model, and how the shop priced the fuel pump I could see $300-$350 in labor, plus the part. Thats a solid 2 1/2 hours in labor. Check with Maxton, or another chevrolet dealership, we have been buying more parts from the dealsership than ususal b/c their prices have been cheaper than NAPA/O'Reilley's etc... and we buy a ton from dealerships to begin with.
  7. Agreed w/ FWD, N/A power rocks! Still like turbo cars, still like AWD cars, still love AWD turbo cars.

    srt4 trade

Why did you buy your T/A, is there any particular reason? Power, RWD, everyone has one, mods?

    my camaro

I was expecting to see something different about it, like he painted it or something. Super neat car.

    here we go again

Seemed pretty confident in his judgement of the mph, I love people who yell and holler b/c a car/bike is loud when they are not going nearly as fast as they think.
  11. I should do this to my car, I have 2 3sge heads..... and a spare set of pistons
  12. YES! A 3sfe!!! Probably in an MR2 or Celica, 5sfe block with the 3sgte head. Although most people use the 3sge head..... May be dumb, didn't read everything, but I wonder if it was a turbo car....or if it was N/A using the turbo head?
  13. Experienced coils if coil on plug, leaking exhaust manifolds, and water pumps out the ass on the 4.0L. Good trucks, otherwise they are one of the favorites at the shop in the winter thats for sure, I would certainly own one. Pat (clbsinvders (sp?)) just went through buying one, his biggest issue that stands out in my mind was putting them in 4wd turning and locking the wheel and one of the axles would hop b/c it would not engage/disengage properly if I remember correctly, I'm sure he will comment and be open to talk about it.
  14. Lmao I just sat down at the computer here as I just finished getting the rear shackle and bracket off an '00 Ranger. The bolt came out of the sleeve for me after some fighting for once. They never come out for me. Normally, if I were not at the shop I would torch the bushing and let it burn out, but the smoke and the smell is a little much here. So otherwise if the bolt will not spin in the metal sleeve I try to get the sleeve and bolt to spin in the bushing. Then I take an impact hammer and hammer the bolt and sleeve out at the same time. Then change the tip and hammer the bushings out. I sell the bracket, shackle, bushing, and two nuts and bolts and try to salvage what I can, but plan for the worst.
  15. no sir lol, not interested in taking it apart... Want to buy a stock SRT intercooler?

  17. Nothing wrong with those at all, wipers should be discretion of the driver. I would assume that it would keep people off the road if their wipers don't work, but most of those people stay off the road anyways. I could care less as a part of the driving system if people have their wipers on or not as long as they can see, lights I care more about. You should move over for anyone on the side of the freeway if the vehicle is occupied.
  18. Wow holy random, just please do not rhino line this one..... Can't help you much on what to look for, haven't worked on/ driven one in years. Just thought I would post my .02
  19. Holy rev limiter, neat car though.
  20. We are selling a single trailer, but I understand the convenience of a double.
  21. Cool video amazing that the Mclaren is more than 10 years old and hangs with a car with a stupid amount of technology. Really shows how far ahead the Mclaren was of its time. Thats what I find cool about the video. I think it would be interesting to race the Mclaren F1 as mentioned above.
  22. Well reading your post I assume that you are a Subaru veteran, this car should have the same common issues that tend to follow them. Otherwise you'll really enjoy the car.
