  1. For school? Out of my pocket with money I saved......
  2. Looks pretty good for a concept, I like this better than the current gen thats for sure. (No offense) Erica says the windows are too narrow... I was wondering that myself, why are we making the damn windows so narrow, people can't drive as it is, why are we making it harder to see out?
  3. Take pics, there are some hot cars all over the place there.
  4. No, I am talking about the people who come over here legally for the sole purpose of going to school here then sending all their fucking money back to their country instead of keeping it here. Secondly, I am paying for that. In other words we are supporting people who support other countries, not our country.....
  5. I see the guilt trip constantly. I think it was great that one of the school levys did not pass and they cut sports because that was a prime example of guilting people into more money and the people did not fall for it. On this note of cutting costs, if foreign people want to be a part of our country they can fucking pay for school themselves. I wish I could go to another country that I don't belong to and have my school paid for by people there. Let's get our own people through then after that consider getting other people through. Why have we not started cutting useless government funded organizations either? If all these organizations have so many people following them, why don't they fund themselves? They are literally just a bunch of little clubs like the SCCA etc... that the government wants to see continue, if there isn't enough interest let it fail, if the automakers can't move cars, let them fail. We need to accept failures, we are a great country, but that does not mean everything goes well ALL OF THE TIME.
  6. Time for something else it sounds like. You are getting into the "danger zone" when bigger expenses crop up on you. If it's not comfortable, or getting the mileage you want then it's time. Ask your self is it cheaper to maintain this car monthly, or is it cheaper to have a car payment on a new car that really just needs maintenance here and there monthly? That will answer your question. Please post it on here if you do decide to sell, I know someone who may or may not be interested. He is a maxima person.
  7. Call Research Alloys Inc, they are the shit. They gave me a couple of 16gallon drums for free when I needed them. Joe is the head guy over there. They may have what you need, and you may see something else you need too. 799 Goodale Blvd Columbus, OH 43212 (614) 224-4404
  8. Euro is the way to go, probably what I will be owning down the road. Not much love for Toyota at all on here. Thought it should at least be mentioned.
  9. Someone may post it before me, but I'm sure the autoX and rallyX dates should be posted
  10. If it is not "In the tread" technically you should not plug it for fear of tearing the sidewall and making it worse/ it not working at all. On the other hand, I did plug a LT tire on a work van probably in the same place you are talking about and i have not heard otherwise from the guy and i see him almost every day.... If it goes flat, new tire, if not....meh, don't do Z rated speeds lol.
  11. Henessey has already strapped a s/c on one.....don't know if there are time slips from it yet....
  12. Dude, how in the world would you type a paper.... Secondly, if the computer is finishing sentences for you, and you are someone who is horrible at english, the computer is going to make you seem smarter than you are b/c the computer is doing the work for you. Thirdly, holy random post lol. When was the last time you were on here?
  13. So thats why he drives a Geo right lol just kidding.
  14. Subaru Forrester - head gaskets sometimes, cam shaft seals that involve timing belts, rear wheel bearings, and cv shaft boots. All are somewhat common problems. Some have no problems, some have all of them. Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix - same 1zz-fe engine...don't know why reliability is different other thant he demograohics of who buys the car....they are the exact same I have driven both....the hood stickers for the motors are the same on both. Honda Fit- Too small?? Toyota Corolla - Same size, find one with a timing chain....no timing belt service then. Cobalt - Haven't touched any at the shop yet...no opinions Mini Cooper?????
  15. I saw that the Bob Evans sign on Olentangy said welcome cars and coffee on it tonight as I drove by..... Was that you guys?
  16. Awesome, I like the aesthetics part of the conversation personally.
  17. You bet, you may now join the small group of people who have figured that out as well. Media is making Obama look like a Hollyweird celebrity more than a president.
  18. I would say no because trucks are not selling well at all. Think about the economy and how people are wanting cars that get better mileage. Would be a steal for her....especially since your car has 60K!!!!
  19. Wow, that is certainly different. Kinda lost for words....
  20. My personal favorite besides The Bandit, would have to be the XJ220
  21. The gold SC300 is Courtney's car who owns or used to own C and L Performance at Cooke and Indianola. The White car in the bottom right picture is pretty badass for the most part, but the gold car was to follow the white car and be up for sale, I guess he couldn't get it done. The V8's big money pit is the timing belt/water pump job, otherwise the car is pretty reliable and well, the I-6 is pretty indestructable. (sp?) Biggest problem you will most likely have besides finding one is one with lower miles.
  22. I agree, now a days it doesn't take a whole lot of talent or "that gift" to make a car move like the manual says it is capable of doing. It's silly, lmk when the next car comes out that I can order crank windows in, besides an exotic kit car.
  23. Glad the rain stayed away I thought at first it would be better to run in the morning, but that idea turned out to be wrong haha. Nice to meet a couple of you out there!
