  2. It's a fun event, you can run whatever class really since points are not involved. It's all about having fun on this one. I will be out along with a whole list of people on here hopefully! DanZ28. heelside, clbsinvaders, megaman, and brendan....idk his s/n on here.
  3. "compact cars only" (dark garage pic) lol Looks amazing, love those sc300's.
  4. I still haven't run the 1/4 in any car yet, so i guess it wasn't meant to be today lol. Heelside was there as well running and providing tools....ironic that a dsm owner would have tools in the back of their car.
  5. Arg, thermostat quit in the staging lane didn't get to run at all. I recognized a couple of you, rhythm, your fd is pretty cool i must say. Oh and the 7 sec pontiac was incredible, holy shit. announcer- "Supposedly this is projected to be a 10 sec. car" lmao
  6. Welcome, nice car, you have any pics? There is one that comes to our shop every once and a while, can't remember the guys name tho. There are a couple on here i believe.

    DSM problem

Like people have said above pull the codes before you throw any more parts at it. Once you get the code(s) post it and im sure a group of people will have the "Ohhhhh thats the problem" light bulb go on in their mind. Once the code is set off, regardless of wether or not the light is still on, it is stored in the computer until it is cleared. Just remember not to assume, that is where mistakes are made and you will lose money if you just throw parts at customers cars. Diagnose it then throw parts at it, then if you are still wrong then it is a little more acceptable.
  8. Makes me glad i didn't come over lol!
  9. Wow....I am being attacked because I don't see what is sooo great about drinking all the time? Show some respect towards other peoples decisions. Just because you need to learn things the hard way dosen't mean you need to attack people that think before they act, or have a level of maturity at the age of 19, or because of past family issues.
  10. Wow you don't see many S10's like that anymore....welcome!
  11. No Order.....I listen to soo much, but this is what is in the car now. Darude AFI Blink 182 Journey Tom Petty Blue October The Cardigans Red Hot Chilli Peppers *Pee Wee Mixes* Some people will know what i'm talking about. (friends)
  12. Mcdonald's pizzas? Back in the day....... The Pig Iron has the best pulled pork s/w evar!
  13. Does not surprise me at all.
  14. This is a bastard car. Our family has owned 3 of them and if you need any interior/exterior parts good luck. Otherwise they are pretty fun and the engine stuff has been covered above. We had a pair of red 87's. They were a ton of fun, one went to a kid that only drove turbo cars....he showed up in a white 944 turbo to pick the car up. He blew the clutch out of it that night street racing and that weekend it was in the back of pick and pull. The other one was someones "first car" and i haven't seen it since.
  15. Yeah i haven't been there in a year or so. It's just a common place to find those odd exotics somtimes.
  16. ^^^Does it click, or not work at all, makes a grinding sound after the car has started......define "stick" It may help some of the other guys figure it out a little more accurately.
  17. Take a lowrider truck for example, if it is "up" the wheels are relatively striaght up and down. When the truck is "down" could for example the front wheel have a major camber change to tuck into the fender. I guess i am asking if camber can noticeably change on a bagged car/truck when it is raised and lowered by the air bags....
  18. ^Wow the engineering INSIDE the engine bay is truely shown in this pic! Lol j/p.
  19. MAG? Not sure if they have any aston's right now.....
  20. Correct me if i am wrong, but after looking at lowrider trucks it seems the camber is crazy when the bags are down, but when they lift back up the camber straightens out? Or is the camber not as noticeable when the car is up? Dan you can quit hating....you know i have a sweet spot for big slammed cars lol.
  21. Perhaps you need to adapt your driving habits to the car you drive....if i had an AWD car i bet i could be WOT all the time too, but as soon as you get rwd or fwd you have to use a "go slow to go fast". You need a little more finess when it comes to cars that are not AWD. If you jump on me for already knowing this, then it sure dosen;t show in your writing.
  22. You have any buildings near you that have a stack of junk pallets behind them? They love it when they disappear over night. Otherwise they hand it away or pay someone to come get them. Plus they make an amazing bonfire since they are easy to stack...
  23. I still want to see your car somtime!
