I turn wrenches on a lot of VW's at work including the old school beetles (gotta love em), and i guess you could say i am an enthusiast. Not much that i don't like from volkswagen and i love the vdub scene. I would love to have a GTI Golf or Rabbit sometime.

Well, i have seen them bolted to the rear deck above the passenger seat, on a formula car they went through the engine and onto the rear frame cross bar, mine are bolted to the rear fire wall (MR2). Not too sure if you are aware of this or not, but you dont want to mount the shoulder straps lower than your shoulders. I.E. bolting them to the floor where your rear seat was...... As long as they are secure, and not mounted in a fashion that would nominate you for a WTF were you thinking picture. Where were you thinking about mounting them?

I have had this happen before too. I get super pissed when people list their cars and then you call and look at it, and before you hang up "well, do you have the title" they go yeah well its in my brother friends uncles name, or idk where it is, or its registered in like three other states. PEOPLE if you are selling your car know where the damn title is or don't list your shit......

The S4 won, the automatic MKIV supra blew up on the quarter mile. The atom finished in the back half of the field. It got killed in almost all of the performance stuff, 5th in skid pad, 6th 1/4 mile, 7th in braking, 7th in lap times. Come on it was not even close....2nd to last in the competition. Hell, the supra that blew up part way through still beat it. The "base price" test made me lol. The BMW 2002 was like 4K, the next cheapest was 19K. The 505hp supra turbo made 41mpg....WTF?

I think it comes down to how much do you like the uniqueness of a rotary. If you could care less and you can afford it go w/ the LSX swap. It is a lot more practical than a rotary.
