Make sure it warms up, most cars that use a manual choke won't idle well until they get hot. Is it stalling right after you start it? Do old corvairs even have a manual choke?
Idk what your experience is w/old cars so if that is "well duh" to you then i apologize.
Thats what the appeal is for me. I do all my own work on my car and if i were to get a bike i want to be able to work on it myself. I would like to find a bike that needs mechanical work so i have an excuse to just take it apart.
I want to meet up with one of you guys somtime and talk bikes. I have never owned one, but would like to be able to work on one myself when i do. I was always curious how you lowered them.
In his defense, not necessarily. Possible, but it could be anything, unless he told you specifically that it is his fault. It takes an aweful lot of abuse to get heat spots like that. Just my .02 in his defense since he isn't on here.
Wouldn't even try to change her mind. Like stated above sounds like she had family issues at a younger age and honestly no matter what you say, you won't be able to change what has been going through her mind for the last (X) amount of years. Don't give up on her though, somtimes they come around, but don't count on it.
I like sach's, grabbier than OE, but OE reliability at a good price. A lot of porsche guys use Sachs Good for your application Janszen, since your stock.
Yeah they have a yellow Vector M12 in one of the bays, it's been there forever. Last time we drove by it looked like they were doing major head work on a Countach. Neat place, and of course the owner has a Lamborghini V12 w/ a piece of glass on top as his desk! Can't go wrong.
I can't remember the exact details, but can't you classify a H2 as like farm equipment, or somthing weird like that? You get a tax break or somthing. I may be waaay off, but it was somthing along the lines of
1.You could classify the H2 as "somthing"
2.tax break of some sort.
I remember that......sombody probably dropped the ball and forgot to move the release from the passenger side to the drivers side on the American versions.
Nice buy, love the color.
No plans as of yet, people have been discussing hooters on the east side, but other than that i can't help ya a lot. I would love to come see your car tho since i have seen your sig. pic forever. Be cool to see it done...ish.
