  1. You can in "theory" fasten the key to the column so that the transponder can be read at all times regardless of the key you are putting in the ignition. We had to do this on an "budget" Honda Odyssey repair.
  2. Oh my gosh, what a mess.
  3. I will be in attendance prior to Volksfest
  4. I came here to post, if it was a diesel, then yes. But, as seen above, that has been the case.
  5. mr2oc.com, join and check out the classifieds. This is where all the good ones will be.
  6. You have my attention on this still, but have 6 cars in the driveway and maybe already a 7th. I'm sorta tapped out right now.
  7. Usually if you drive a mini that far into overheating it's unfortunately not a cheap fix. You need to run a compression check.
  8. I can't offer a lot of specifics, but I would not rule out Mazda bits. I think Mazda made a similar car not offered here.........Mazda 120 or 121 or something. Go JDM!!
  9. Their "big meet" used to be at the Sertoma car show in Westerville every year. Usually pull 8-15 "members". It's been awhile though!
  10. Appreciate the work, not a fan of the result :/
  11. 2000 Chrysler LHS - Asking $4,800 obo. 3.5L High Output V6 Silver exterior, black leather interior. Zero Rust 40,400 miles A/C cold Car can be seen M-F 7am-6pm at 4330 Indianola Avenue, Columbus 43214. Recent service -Timing belt kit -Waterpump -Thermostat and seal -Accessory belts -4 Tires -Front pads and rotors -Upper and lower radiator hose -Battery -Spark plugs and ignition coil boots -Air filter -Coolant flush -Wiper blades -Oil change -All 4 door seals are new from dealer -High pressure p/s line and fluid change -Professional detail. Bought the car from the original owner, it was due for timing belt and tires and they are old enough that they decided they were done driving. The only thing wrong with the car is one of the speakers is crackling. Even had a "period correct" Motorola cell phone holder/charger still mounted in it.
  12. What a great idea, great era for Asian cars all around.
  13. This thread title is quite the personal question from the main forum page.......lol
  14. For the photo hungry...... http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01175_zpse0a8b5ba.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01231_zps8a23796d.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01119_zps10ce980c.jpg
  15. Selling my 1995 Toyota Corolla DX - Asking $2,500 1.8L 4 cylinder (The big motor) 114K miles (rounded up) Automatic A/C works great New tires Minimal rust, scratch down right side of car (old lady owned), bumpers great! Timing belt was done at 53K, unknown amount of time ago. Newer battery, tune up components good, brakes have plenty of life left This car will be dumb reliable for some time, probably won't see another at this price point with this few miles. Might trade on something that needs some work. Interested in Subaru's, MR2's, or obscure cars. PICTURES TONIGHT!
  16. NOT what I was expecting. That is fantastic!
  17. I'll be racing in Wilmington, I am sending some people your way though!!
  18. Do any of you people have a insurance policy that covers cars in storage? I mean I have State Farm and every winter it has what I would call an "act of God" insurance policy on it. I.E. if a tree were to fall on the garage, the garage catch fire, or if the car is stolen. Then in the spring I reactivate the full coverage for driving......boom, always have proof. BTW that coverage for it sitting is only like $25 for the 5-6 months it sits.
  19. Wobble extensions have been a huge life saver and a great flat rate tool for me.
