  1. SO, I've been poking around a bit for artwork that involves cars. Sometimes particular cars being the focal point, other times twisty roads with great scenery, etc... Could be a print, could be a canvas print, could be a oil piece, etc. I have looked around a bit at the obvious. Ebay/Amazon/Deviant Art. Pinterest has a lot of interesting photos that would make great prints larger prints, but having troubles figuring out how to go about obtaining them. Does anybody have any larger sources of art online or local that they like to look for stuff of this nature that I have clearly missed?
  2. You can also add "shooting brake" to your list. Legacy GT Wagon 5MT checking in. The later ones are turbo charged as Trish pointed out. Love me some wagons, presuming you are on facebook, check out the "Wagon Mafia" page for some inspiration.
  3. I have no comment/experience with trans issues on these cars. I service 3 IS250's, and 1 IS350 and none of them have had trans issues. The IS350 had rear strut mounts go bad at 80K, the 250's have been solid from 40K-120K. Is the IS350 out of your price range? That 2GRFE 3.5L motor is super strong and really reliable. They switched to timing chain finally with this motor.
  4. What types of cars do you service? I use both of those tools and feel like the Autel has way more capability than the Genisys especially when it comes to Euro stuff. I like using the genisys for basic code checks and quick data stream reference, the Autel is my "back-up" for non VAG Euro cars, and a primary for Land Rover/Jaguar. Feel free to PM me with any specific questions. The Autel definitely has longer load times than the Genisys.
  5. I think I understand your connection with the car, have you considered building a second "drop in" drive line for the car? It sounds like you have one in the works pretty much. Pull nitrous motor and put it away and play with new set up, if you don't like it or get tired of it then ditch it? I mean if the car means to you the same as my MR2 means to me, doing something like that wouldn't bother me in the least (work load wise).
  6. WHITE WHALE V2.0!! Nice color choice, I want to see this thing in action at an autocross!! Congrats sir! Although I think I'll miss seeing the TTRS, I really liked that car. I'm a sucker for turbo 5's.
  7. 235/65/17 General Altimax Arctic Tires, 7-8/32nds across the tread. Off a well aligned Chrysler Pacifica. The wheels are the 6 spoke chrome wheels WITH TPMS, the chrome has no major defects or peeling. 17X7.5 5 lug, not sure of bolt pattern off hand. Owner sold vehicle and these will not fit the new vehicle. Selling as a wheel/tire package at this time. If you want the wheels or tires only, make an offer. ASKING $400 OBO for the package.......seriously, make a reasonable offer.
  8. To those involved with getting this put together, your efforts are greatly appreciated. I had a great time, good to see many of you again!

  12. This man has the milllion dollar question so to speak. Is it digital climate control, or manual climate control?
  13. How about a 1979 Lotus Eclat? http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/4129855397.html

  15. I love this car, welcome!
  16. Le Sigh, I should really buy this. Having serviced the car in the past, this thing is pretty darn clean to say the least. It would not be a "beater" car from Rich unless it has Koni's on it lol.
  17. 86-89 Porsche 911 03-04 Subaru Impreza STi Unrealistically - Ferrari 360 Modena hardtop Mercedes-Benz 500E AMG Hammer
  18. It's pretty damn huge, so much to do. Played for about 2 1/2 hours, going to bed.
  19. I think I'm going to snag it at mid night for shits since I haven't done that before.
  20. Pre-ordered for 360 checking in. Crozz Lee
  21. I think the parts investment is a little optimistic. Are you not doing the work yourself? You would be silly to not do timing belt on a used motor, so if you have wholesale on parts add another $260 for that, how are the lower ball joints, cv shafts, u-joints? Especially @ 180K. May as well toss a clutch in it if manual. Unless you are looking to sell a mediocre high mileage car with no service history, a motor swap, and rust I think I would pass.
