It takes plutonium (or a bolt of lightning) to power the time circuits, until the 2nd movie when Mr. Fusion was added!
-
Well it turns out he recently bought a new set. Forget I said anything
-
Word. I'll find out
-
Are these the same as a 2011? If so, I'll take them. I have a buddy that was looking for a pair
-
That is the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
-
Awesome, Clay! Usually I find most Teslas kind of boring looking, but this one looks pretty sharp  Seriously? Jesus Christ. The Tesla universe is so fucked lol

I've let her drive it twice already and she loves it as much as I do As far as the maintenance records, I'm sure we will figure out a time, no rush. I actually have an appointment with a shop Monday to get a few things checked out. The wipers, oil change, the AC isn't blowing cold, and I asked them to clean the throttle body because it idles a bit low once warmed up. You know, just a bunch of easy stuff I would normally do myself if I wasn't living in an apartment. I absolutely love driving this thing every day. Going from a bare bones '89 work truck to an Escalade is like night and day

I've bought several cars from CR members over the years, and always had great luck. Today was no exception. I had the pleasure of meeting Larry (Mace) and he gave me the opportunity to buy his '02 Escalade at a really good price. I have only owned it for a day now, but I'm already attached to it. It's something I can see myself owning for a long, long time. Here's the specs. '02 Escalade, 6.0 LQ9, AWD, 122k miles, in my favorite Cadillac color (pearl white)..... Runs and drives great, no issues, everything works. I foresee this being my daily driver for many years. Mace takes great care of his vehicles and is an all around great guy. The whole process couldn't have gone smoother. And for all of you guys joking about his old age, after meeting him I seriously thought he was only like 50 lol

Awesome car, Carl. Is it staying local?
-
Nope. He's too busy bragging to himself about buying mini coopers for $300 and flipping them for $5k because lowballing little old ladies makes his pecker hard. No wonder his wife hates him

If anyone wants to buy this, let me know and I'll sell it CHEAP! Here's the rundown: -I put in a brand new battery -I had a local shop replace the radiator because it was leaking -It's throwing a code for the MAF. It'll immediately stall if you don't give it gas right after it fires up. But if you give it a little gas (just hold it above 1k RPMs) for a few seconds, it's all good. Holds an idle (low) when cold and runs fine after that -Door hinge pins need replaced on both sides -No radio, but still has the factory wiring and plug -Sunroof doesn't seem to operate, but if you hit the buttons you can hear the motor trying to do something -Needs various interior bits. The center console lid is busted. Overhead console dome lights are broken. Sun visors are missing their mirrors -Headlights look rough -Front tires definitely need replaced, and it probably needs an alignment. I had the shop check out the front end (you can occasionally hear a clunk at low speeds when weight is transferred, like when braking while turning) and they said it all looks good, but the idler arm has a little play in it. Personally I think the steering shaft rag joint is worn as well I think that's about sums it up. The engine runs REALLY strong without a miss, the trans shifts absolutely perfect without any grinds, no popping out of gear, goes into all gears easy and smooth. Clutch feels great, never slips. Brakes feel perfect. It's pretty loaded with power options. Heat and A/C both work. The bottom line is that it's a rust-free 5-speed Blazer, which is really hard to find nowadays. It's 2WD but has all the normal ZR2 suspension goodies plus the 3.73 G80 rear. I think all the issues could be fixed relatively quick and cheap. One trip to Pick-n-Pull would cure 90% of it. I paid $2500 plus tax/title and spent another $600 on having the local shop replace the radiator and go through it. I would list it on FB marketplace for close to $3k, but honestly I would MUCH rather sell it for half that much to a friend or CR member, just to avoid the typical marketplace/craigslist headaches. It was an impulse buy and if I weren't currently living in an apartment, I would keep it and fix it up. LMK if you're interested

Man you aren't lyin I think I bought shit from you at one point too. A super cheap home stereo if I remember right. And you worked at PD back in the day?
-
Pic of S10 for reference....
-
Same lol. Some of those threads are amazing. Cordell, thanks again for selling me that '95 S10 for $200. I fixed the brake line, drove it for 8k miles, and then sold it for $300. I still see that thing driving around from time to time.

Damn. I figured this was coming eventually, but it still sucks. I get it though. I have been in the habit of visiting CR daily for the last 15 years. I've bought and sold so much stuff on here, wayyy more than my 28 "trader rating" shows. I'm not super close with anyone from CR, but met some good people and always enjoyed my time on the forums. I just wish I had come out more often back in the day. Other than a handful of Broad/thrift store meets in the mid/late 2000's with my teal Camaro and a few Polaris meets in the early 2010's with my red Camaro, I wasn't very active (track days, QSL, etc). Thanks to all who ran this place and those who contributed so much. Look for me on the FB group, Steve Kovalchik is my name. I'm the 35-year-old dude drinking beer out of a boot. I'll make an effort to attend cars and coffee or whatever car shows are around next year with my '85 GMC pickup, and any future track days once I eventually get a "fun car" again.

I used to go there with a bunch of my friends when we were kids. Brice Rd location. On Mondays you could buy a wristband for $13 and race unlimited go karts all night. Some nights you could bump all you want and turn people sideways. Other nights they would kick you out of the race just for lightly tapping someone. It was always more fun when the employees didn't give a fuck.

I'm looking for something mechanically sound and practical for use as a daily. Basically I just want something that I can drive to work for the next year or so and won't have to fix a bunch of shit. Anyone have something they are thinking about selling? Budget, idk, maybe 2-4k range.
-
I just need my stuff to quit breaking. I'm daily driving my '04 Blazer while I fix a lot of the little issues with it. My '89 Chevy pickup won't start due to some kind of electrical issue and I haven't even bothered with trying to sort that out yet. I plan on taking my '85 GMC to more shows next year, but the alternator won't charge the battery and I can't figure out why. Of course all this shit happens while I'm living in an apartment and working on stuff is a huge PITA. I'm tempted to order a brand new truck, but I'm trying to buy a house again in early '23 so I would rather not have a car payment until I get a house.

Total shot in the dark, but I'm looking for a pair of 31 x 10.5 / 15 Maybe a whole set of 4

I'm actually about to buy another Regal, but I'll keep you in mind if it falls through. It has been a few years since I've owned an L67 car and I have the itch again. Who did the tint on the Caprice? I had Performance Auto Spa do the fronts on my girlfriend's Rogue last week, and it was $180 for two fucking windows.
-
Hell yeah! I've always wanted one of those. The wheels (from a Camaro?) look good on it. Details on the Regal?

Urban to the Jags was a disaster from the start. This was inevitable. Funny how OSU fans were sucking Urban's pecker when he came to OSU, and called Florida fans ungrateful for daring to say negative things about him and being happy after he left. Now after all the BS in Columbus and Urban showing his true colors in Jacksonville, maybe you guys finally get it.

Yeah, I guess I'm still holding out hope for a good deal on a leftover '21 truck next summer, but I'm not holding my breath.
