Anyone ever deal with this shop before, or hear much about them? https://www.cruisinperformance.com/ I would just like to have a few minor things done to my '85 K10, but I don't want to spend a small fortune on an alignment and a carb rebuild. I have dealt with shops in the past that specialize in high dollar builds and restorations and such, and I don't want to be in another situation where I'm quoted an insane price for some very basic maintenance. Unfortunately I don't have the time/space/ability to do the work myself at the moment, and I'm not some rich guy with an unlimited budget like many of the customers at these "specialty" shops. But I think the truck is probably too old/uncommon to take to your everyday repair shop. Yeah, I'm probably over thinking this.

See, this is exactly the kind of shit I'm talking about...... https://www.nbc4i.com/news/u-s-world/some-move-to-change-breast-milk-to-chest-or-human-milk-in-effort-to-be-more-inclusive/ -

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything about the old days were better. For instance, I always thought Pepe Le Pew was a creepy rape skunk. Never did like that French bastard. And I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy some Spongebob Squarepants! -

Come on Randy, you can do better than that! Don't you want to tell me my privilege is showing? Let's be honest, I'm a straight white male from midwest America, so nobody cares what I have to say unless I'm yelling DEFUND THE POLICE or grilling the Aunt Jemima syrup folks on Twitter for being intolerant scumbags. I just think it's funny how we preach equality, yet there are so many double standards and examples of reverse racism/sexism. There isn't much consistency and if you dare to question it, you're labeled a racist or a bigot or whatever. I'm just trying to keep up with the rules. Also, my comments wouldn't be so shocking if instead of this wall of text on the internet, you just imagined them coming from some drunk guy at a dive bar. Although I'm not at a bar, and I'm not drunk.....yet -

Since this has morphed into another political thread among the same usual parties, I don't mind coming in here and adding some fuel to the fire. Let's talk, boys! Nowadays, it is socially acceptable for a person to identify as the opposite gender. A guy can wear women's clothes, talk and act like a woman (whatever that means), call himself a woman, and society needs to respect that. OK, but isn't it sexist to identify as a gender based off of such stereotypical traits? How is that any different than a white guy dying his skin black and calling himself an African American? The former is acceptable, yet the latter clearly isn't. So identifying as a different gender is OK, but not a different race? What's the difference, really? You are a male or female or black or white based off of your genetic makeup. Your DNA identifies who you are on paper. If a guy is more comfortable wearing a dress or a girl is more comfortable shaving her head and wearing blue jeans, why can't we just accept that without the need to identify as a different gender? You want to get your tallywacker chopped off and wear lipstick and call yourself Lilly, hey, go for it. I'm all for people doing whatever makes them happy. But guess what? Lily is still a dude. If a white guy wears a FUBU jersey and gets cornrows and listens to Dr. Dre, it doesn't make him black, does it? Switching topics for a minute. For me, the "pussification of America" is evident in something as simple as modern cartoons. Back in the day, Tom and Jerry would smack each other and smoke cigars, Elmer Fudd would shoot Daffy Duck with a rifle, the Coyote would try and blow up the Roadrunner. Cookie Monster would eat COOKIES, not vegetables (with cookies as an occasional snack!) like today's version. Guns and "violence" are not acceptable in modern cartoons. Why? Because apparently we expect TV to parent our children? Hell, I'm sure someone would be "offended" by Foghorn Leghorn nowadays. For all the good that social media provides, there's obviously a lot of bad that comes from it as well. You know that saying, the squeaky wheel gets the grease? Well now every Karen knows they can "get their way" because society now caters to the complainers. Some white guy suddenly decides he is "offended" by the Cleveland Indians. Yeah, I'm sure he's losing sleep over the name and logo of a sports team that he doesn't even watch. But don't you worry, he'll keep complaining until he can force some billionaire to change the name of the team that he doesn't even follow. All so he can get his rocks off to being "woke" and all the other SJW's slobbing on his knob. 'Look what we did! We made some rich white guy change the name of his sports team! Power to the people!' Fake outrage is the new fad. Lots to unpack here, lettuce discuss -
Anyone?

I did a little research, and there's some folks who have figured out how to mod the game. Not just updated rosters and coaches, but updated schools/conferences, uniforms, logos, records/stats, menu art, all kinds of stuff. They are working on a way to get the playoff into the dynasty mode to replace the BCS. I found all of this intriguing enough to buy a modded 360 so I can play the modded game. So, thanks for this thread I guess

Football gaming has gone downhill since EA got the exclusive license back in 2006. The last really good football games were made in the mid 2000s. The first several years of football games on the 360/PS3 were absolute trash. They finally got decent again around 2012-2014. It just so happens that the last college football game they made ('14) was the best all around football game EA has made in the last 15 years. On the current systems, Madden NFL is the only option and they have completely phoned it in. The game barely changes from year to year and lacks many of the features from the older games. They only care about DLC (Madden Ultimate Team) so they market the game to kids who don't know any better. Long story short, if you want to play a really good college football game with decent graphics, NCAA '14 is the best option. But at those prices? LOL. I would opt for NCAA '13 which is 90% as good, and only 20% of the price

I just looked on ebay....Jesus Christ those prices are insane I have it but I'm not selling, sorry. I just wish I would have bought a bunch more a few years back when Gamestop was selling the game for $40

I'm pretty sure 614streets made a thread spouting off a bunch of gibberish with random pictures of a pot leaf and an eagle and shit. That's all I remember

He did a shitty job rebuilding the 10 bolt on my Camaro, and when I mentioned that the A/C system was leaking he recommended a shop called Hand's Auto Repair on Parsons. I guess his brother or something works there? Well that guy forgot (or just didn't care) to put in the leak dye when he charged it. So that place sucks too. I remember paying my bill when I picked up my Camaro and Rob's girlfriend was going off about the phone company or some shit, and there were cats all over the office.

Nice work! Beautiful car. I love those damn things

Oh yes, absolutely. Still safe to drive. It's not to the point where it's bad enough to break on the road, but I still think it all needs done sooner rather than later.

I have one of those multi-function ladders that can be used as scaffolding, it looks similar to this but it's longer.... Let me know if you could use it. If so, you can borrow it for as long as you need

I have an '89 Chevy K1500 (4x4) pickup. Needs all four ball joints, idler arm, and pitman arm replaced. I have all the parts brand new in box (AC Delco professional) just need someone to do the labor. If you or someone you know is looking for some easy cash and wants to do it for a reasonable rate, let me know and I'll drop it off at your convenience. Time is NOT an issue. It can be tomorrow, next week, next month, whenever. You can keep the truck for a day or a week, as long as it's done right I couldn't care less how long it takes. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance

Yep, definitely sounds like a 3800 Nice numbers!

CR hasn't changed, nor should it need to. It's all the members that quit showing up that are to blame. Unfortunately that seems to be the trend with every forum/message board nowadays. People would rather be active on facebook groups for whatever reason.

My goal was to get a 6th gen Camaro, and I was in serious talks to buy a '20 SS 1LE in Rally Green, buuuuut then divorce kind of got in the way Although I did manage to buy one of my dream cars (really nice short bed squarebody pickup) so it's not all bad

That is cool as fuck

Cool Jeep, and even cooler that it's the same year as the RV

imgbb.com I used to use Imgur, but they started forcing you to use the app (which is garbage) so I switched to ImgBB. It's the best/easiest of them all IMO

I fucking love that Lincoln! Well done, Clay

Thanks guys! Hell no! I'll have the '89 until it literally rusts away to nothing. Best vehicle I've ever owned, and I still need a winter beater. And an 8' bed.

Picked up an '85 GMC K10 short bed a couple weeks ago from a guy in Lancaster..... Pictured here with my '89..... It's a really cool truck. 350, 4-speed manual, 3/4 ton axles, recent repaint, runs and drives great, really nice condition.
