  1. It was an unfinished stud wall, so I hung some OSB, painted it black, and attached the wood pieces with a finish nailer. That peel and stick stuff would certainly be easier since you already have drywall in place, but it sure doesn't sound cheap.
  2. I've probably already posted this, but I did a garage wall in pallet wood.... It took some time to break the pallets down, but for the price (free) it was well worth it. Or you can buy reclaimed wood, or the prefinished stuff that's make to look rustic, and save yourself a lot of time.
  3. ^ looks good, but reclaimed wood would definitely look even better
  4. Awesome story and build. And that truck is cool as fuck
  5. Wow! I already have like 7 TV's, but I'm definitely buying this lol
  6. I have no need for another TV, but that's a great deal. I've heard really good things about Hisense. My TV in the spare bedroom is a 42" Hisense from like 2011. It has been a great TV.
  7. Damn right. I'm doing the same. Nothing is going to change until we take the power away from this two party system that is clearly beyond fucked. I'm so tired of people voting for the candidate they hate the least. People need to learn that there's always another option.
  8. Yep. People in California literally can't even turn into their own driveways because they are blocked by homeless people
  9. I would like to have one. For reference, I have daily driven stick shift vehicles for years, and greatly enjoy it. My dad has a '57 Chevrolet pickup with a 3 on the tree, as well as a '66 with a 3 on the tree. The first time I drove one, I picked it up quick and easily got used to it. I think it would be really cool to have one in any old pickup. I can't think of any reason why I wouldn't want one in a squarebody, as long as I didn't plan on going fast.
  10. Maybe you only read half of my post. And Trump is the incumbent. It's the democratic party's responsibility to come up with a superior candidate. There's always another option; I just wish society would realize it.
  11. Exactly. But they can't/won't push a likeable candidate because they are too stupid, and they only care about their own agenda. This is now two elections in a row they choose an absolute dogshit candidate to represent their party. The system is broken. There's no fucking way that these are the most qualified people to run our country, yet these are the choices we are offered. It's beyond fucked.
  12. The last couple phones I’ve owned over the years were unlocked for use on any carrier. I had an LG G6 that was originally a Verizon phone that worked on my network (T-Mobile). Now I have an LG G8 that seems to have originally been a Sprint phone that I again use on T-Mobile. When I got both of these phones, it was fairly easy to set up the proper APN to get MMS and everything working like it should, but I’ve noticed with both phones there will be times when I have strong reception and someone will call me, and it goes straight to voicemail. Texting and sending messages on various apps still work fine but the phone won’t receive a call, almost like it’s shut off or I don’t have any cellular service. Here’s the thing, I had kind of found a bandaid fix with my old phone. As soon as I would dial out, it would suddenly start working fine and then it would receive calls no problem, usually for the rest of the day. I got in the habit of just calling Lowe’s or some random place every morning and hanging up as soon as it starts to ring, just to make sure my phone was working and I wasn’t missing any calls. Now with the new phone, I’ve been testing it out and that doesn’t seem to be working, it’s a lot more intermittent. I have anywhere from 2 to 4 bars, LTE most of the time but noticed it fluctuating to G or E as soon as I dial out or call the phone. Sometimes it’ll receive the call, usually it goes straight to VM. I’ve been testing it out this morning, using my work phone to call the cell phone every 5 minutes or so, and it goes to VM every time. The only time it rings is right after I’ve restarted the phone. What the hell is going on?
  13. If you want an automatic, get another GTP or some other GM car with a 3800. And honestly as much as I loved my GTPs, I think I liked my Park Avenue Ultra even more. My current daily drivers are an '05 Scion XB and an '89 Chevrolet K1500. Both stick shift. Both are awesome and fit the criteria for a dirt cheap simplistic beater.
  14. Nice, Clay! What kind of power are you estimating, and what do you expect to run in the 1/4?

    Bad tire

Thanks for the links Steve and Brian. My specific tire isn't listed on there and it's a few years old now so I'm probably shit out of luck, but I'll see what I can find out Very true. I just assumed the person was a complete twat and didn't know what they were doing lol. I've never seen a tire come apart on its own like this

    Bad tire

That's a bad angle, they still have a lot of life left. There's about 12k miles on them. Cooper Discoverer AT3

    Bad tire

Is this a defective tire, or did some dipshit try and slash it? If it's the latter, the pussy couldn't even puncture it.....
  18. Hell yeah, nice choice! Awesome color too
  19. What's the difference between GM Supplier pricing and GM Employee pricing?
  20. A Typhoon in this teal color is one of my dream cars
  21. The problem is that it's basically impossible to keep college kids in a bubble. Between going to class and just hanging around others on campus, there's a much greater chance of exposure. College kids are still going to party and be dumb, and it'll eventually spread through the team and lead to games being cancelled. That being said, there's no reason they shouldn't at least try and get it going. I agree with a lot of the stuff Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence have been saying.
  22. Hell yeah! Looking great! Do you need to buy more plywood? I still owe you a good deal
