  1. A.J.'s car bottomed out nearly ripping out his oil pan while jumping over bubble gum as he flew through a school zone at night in a gated community with his lights off at speeds approaching 75mph all while ignoring all the signage and was half buzzed.
  2. Glad the other Audi guy is set to a customer too.
  3. Had Kevin install an RS4 Grill on my car. In and out in less than a lunch hour and had some quality catch up time with him. Thumbs up all the way. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj84/crms3er/DSC00543_zpsrp668xzt.jpg
  4. My old boss is Director of Sales - at Parascript a good document mgt. company. Todd G. LeVeque on Linked in. Connect with me if you've not already. He's a good guy and looking for a Sales engineer for the software team. Your background would likely fit well there if you worked with the software systems at MT. Tell him Tim Lauro sent you. There will be travel of course but the gigs usually pay pretty well.
  5. You think? Hell, the lights on our van or my cars are great and light up well ahead. Our side street is dark outside the house lights many leave on and i usually hit the high beams just because you never know if there's a knucklehead jogging neighbor. I'm 1005 confident that normally adjusted low beams would be sufficient at 25mph to see that speed bump. Also, on a dark side street with no traffic like that, one should be using their high beams too. http://www.beyond.ca/i/night-driving.jpg
  6. http://i.imgur.com/g5IUpMKl.jpg THAT'S the speed bump this post is about? How freaking low is your car that it causes your oil pan to scrape? Check your headlights too as if you're not seeing that at night, your lights need re-aimed. I mean I can see it slamming a strut hard the first time if you were going 25+mph but then if you can't see the speed control device at 25mph then that's too fast to begin with. BTW, what's the sight facing the other direction say?
  7. Quality work at a fair price all while supporting a local! Kevin saved me several years back by replacing a rocker panel on my Speed 3 that fell into sink hole filled with water disguised as a shallow puddle. Estimates from other places were in the $500-600 range. Kevin found me a like new part from a pick-n-pull, sprayed the tri-color pearl to a perfect match and had me on my way in a matter of a couple days for a fraction of the price.
  8. Yeah but most every place I've shopped has provided free shipping. One from Canada didn't offer it but all it took was me asking if they would do so to match the Amazon store and they did.
  9. ^^ this on the one order I've placed with them recently. I've switched to just going to other sources / direct to the vendors to avoid wasting my money on the taxes collected.
  10. Consider it yours. Let's connect yet this week. Today is crazy but Wed-Friday will work. Sent you a text message.
  11. You're right I've not been to many CR events recently, but then I really don't need to considering I know so many people on the board outside just CR. I've known a number of the guys here 15+ years some going back way before the establishment of CR to the days of list-serves back in the mid 90's....about when you were done shitting in diapers. At least that's my guess as based on your posts hunch tells me that you're likely in your very early 20's.
  12. Long ass argumentative multiple paragraph detailed responses are my shtick man. Back off
  13. Respect for some big fucking power. I guess I never knew how much torque these beasts can put out. WOW! Ohio represented well too.
  14. Dude, if you weren't just so completely insignificant in the scheme of CR and I actually knew who the fuck you were your butt-hurt poking might actually mean something. :jerkit:
  15. Yeah but the quarter mile goes to 10.9 vs 11.6. Still pricey yes, but not too shabby. I stand by my love for an RS7 though.
  16. As others have said, it's not all doom here. Advances in the area of treatment have come light years in a short amount of time. I know a lot of survivors that in the end had a wake up call and are continuing with life in bigger and better ways. FWIW I only know one person that passed from Breast Cancer and at least a dozen plus that are doing great. Many are 20+ year survivors. Use this as an opportunity to change your life and the lives of others. Get involved and even if it's just a change in how you live your life with better choices and awareness, that works. Those changes impact and influence others and the chain of good things continues on. Good luck to you sir. Keep positive thoughts. Negative ones will never help.
  17. would you mind sharing some of the products you used for this job? I hit our black minivan every year and did so yesterday after the rain passed. The only part I struggle with and perhaps need stronger products on is the hood and roof....although I don't even polish the roof 'cause you can't see it :fuckyeah: The sides and rear I can get 95%+ outside perhaps the occasional deeper scratch.
  18. that would be cool. let's just figure out a way to make it affordable.
  19. Give some tax breaks for businesses to increase telecommuting. The COTA park-n-ride near my house has only been used by the same 15 people for the last 20 years.
  20. ^^ This. ^^ We have those and sometimes I LOL at the two neighbors who put them up along with the ones that stick in the ground. Then I realize, I'm the same way only I don't put up signs, I walk the dog with my kids, knock on the door of the people who speed and have a conversation about it with them. Having kids changes you in ways you'd never expect. I used to be the guy that drove 35mph down side streets.
  21. I like them a lot but they need to step up their game on interiors. Especially at that price point. Cool stuff though. I think if they can launch the slightly smaller $35k'ish version and perhaps extend the range to even say 350 miles, they'd crush many of the dino driven competitors.
  22. Update: Sub is sold, Trish has dibs on the Microwave for Monday pick up but the printer is still available.
  23. USB. I had it connected via both USB and then USB to a wireless router so that my wife and kids could print to it and it worked fine from there too. I have the discs, etc for it but the drivers online are more current. I did fine a brand new Yellow toner cart for it too.
