So people pay extra for a service are lazy? Interesting thought behind the business model. Yes, if the product arrives in less than acceptable condition and/or the originating location shows a trend for poor quality/service, you bet I'd leave a bad review in writing.
-
In the end if that were the case, we'd vote with our wallet, order from another place and leave some serious feedback. Most companies react very well to a bad write up on web sites such as Google, Yahoo, Yelp, Trip Adviser. You're manager might laugh but he/she is the one it would ultimately reflect upon. Especially if the incidents are repeated. Good luck to him.

We can agree to disagree. Delivery is not equal to waiting on me, the wife and two kids. Last I checked, once it's delivered, we're getting our plates, drinks and cleaning up, etc. I waited tables and tended bar in college too. Never delivered as I never felt it was worth it. We rarely have a problem. If we do it's because it's a crazy busy night and this year that's happened maybe once or twice. Ditto. However, in the end, it's my money and their job. Just being real and while many may disagree, I bet more often than not most do the same but won't admit it. Fuck, people bitch about apps for $.99 yet will toss $5 for a $15 pizza.....I don't buy it.
-
Edamame at Easton is like that. They put the tip line on the receipt when you place the order. Really? No thanks. I only tip if the guy/girl working the table area usually busing them gets us refills or asks how we're doing, etc. Otherwise, no, you don't tip at Fast Casual places unless you're waitedon. Then the tip goes on the table, it's not paid up front.
-
Go ahead bring my shit last, then I just make a phone call to the store, get that order for free and then with a simple email to corporate I can get a voucher for the next one too. If a pizza driver has an expectation of 20%, then get a job waiting tables. It's a delivery job, get over it.
-
$1 plus whatever it takes to round-up to the next. Thus if the order is $22.50 I go 24.00. May sound cheap to some, but come on, it's just a delivery driver and they already charge a delivery fee to cover part of the drivers wages. I don't care if they do or don't get part or any of that fee per hour, the point is it's not like being waited on like at a sit-down place. Nor should the dollar amount of the bill matter for a delivery driver.

AT&T. I checked to make sure my wife's iPhone was set to send as text messages if iMessage was unavailable and it definitely sends them as "green" indicating they are standard text messages/MMS's not iMessages. Can't figure this out.
-
Check the power of the charger itself. My note 3 can charge to full from near empty in like 2 hrs. I have some aftermarket ones that work great too and can post if interested.
-
http://www.androidforums.com/images/icons/icon5.gif MMS messages in duplicate, why? I switched from an iPhone to my Note 3 and all has been great. I disassociated my number with iMessage and my texts are coming and going just fine with one exception. Whenever an iPhone user sends me a photo, that MMS shows up twice in a row? Not sure why? What needs to be done to insure it's only coming through once?

Meh...if the store policy allows it and the technology sucks then why not? Hell, I'll rebox and return shit in a heartbeat if it's made poorly. I did it this year on a small heater that I used in our family room in the lower level. Perhaps a little over 1yr old with what, maybe 3 months use on it...and it craps out no longer oscillating? Fuck that, bought a new one, put the old one in the box and returned it as defective. Not a fuck given. Let the manufacturer EAD and the costs to build something that lasts. I'll be damn if I'm going to eat-it.

Yeah, we have a Sammy BluRay and IMO their "smart" interface sucks balls. Pisses me off on a daily basis. Tonight it's NetFlix that is pissing me off. I have over 25gb bandwidth being pulled down yet it can't stream a fucking thing tonight. Guess I'm not the only night owl trying to watch something. Fuck, I hate technology at times.

I'm sure both are good but I've had Onkyo for over 20yrs and loved every one of them. Still have them all too. The oldest is in my garage powering four 15" CV's from College Clean power and discreet amps. Love them.

ouch. That's why we went propane our our place up in OR. Too much money to tap into the city gas. Beside, I have plenty of land up there and the tank is out of site behind the 5 car garage that is attached via a breezeway. It was so cold this year, I had to have a heater installed on the pump for the well as the lines began to freeze. Not a big deal cost wise, but among the coldest seasons since we bought the place back in 2000. ^^ this. I keep our house at 45% in the winter. Makes breathing a lot easier and static is a non issue anymore.

is the second stage gas or electric? my guess, gas. our place up in Oregon has a heat pump but the temps up there are way more moderate. some seasons we don't even get snow. this year is an exception. it was -9 there just a few weeks ago. our tenants said it was the first time in the last few years they can recall the second stage (propane) furnace kicking in for more than just a few minutes. overall the system there is great, especially in the summer.

You need to submit that to GM and the Vette Designers now.....The idea could get traction quickly. Very cool. Very creative. -

Wife and I have been there several times but this is a new resort and will be my kids first time. http://kauai.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html Wife will bitch about kids missing school, but hey...they are doing great and missing it is part of the fun Cleared it with the principle already.

I don't see people who disagree being labeled as such. He also didn't just disagree. He goes off quoting the bible, and even back just a couple years ago made a speech where he called same-sex sexual activities shameful and perverted and causing God to bring his wrath upon us. Now I'll admit, I'm not a fan of guys banging guys and can certainly hold my own in a debate against it, but I'm not going to thump bibles and say stuff like that. Because non believers aren't scrutinized or bashed. Does anyone really not see gays being discriminated against? Are heteros discriminated against in the same way? Heteros are not the minority in the world. Just about every TV Ad out there puts the hetero lifestyle in the face of everyone. Yes it is all just freedom of speech and religion, but one must use common sense and brainpower to realize that there are impacts on others when they spout off holding their first amendment card in hand. Again, those around him are going to react and yes, his employer could can his show. Like you, it's not my thing either. However, you and I both absotlutely still hold the same right to voice our opinion. How has his right our our right to do so been squashed? You're confusing a LEGAL right or being arrested for such a thing with a SOCIETAL reaction to what we might say. They are two different things. No ones RIGHTS were stiffled here. He's allowed and within his rights to speak and post videos, conduct interviews with GQ. However, society as a whole, even those in the minority and yes, even A&E are equally allowed to speak back. Look, he carries a HUGE Following and millions know who he is, etc. Going out to GQ or anywhere that will be picked up by Yahoo, etc. is going out in the national spotlight. Again, why the hell would he even go down the path of answering such questions? Didn't he even pause for a second to ask himself why was he being asked such a question? Did his publicist or agent not get a copy of all the questions ahead of time? Really? He was blind to being "baited" which again, is ironic given he makes duck call devices, etc. I LOL about it all actually because the irony is so strong. He's also made speeches that he knows are being taped and thrown up online. Sure, he's within his "rights" to do so, but some common sense about his actions was lacking. Especially given his TV image. But hey, as noted, he probably does know but just doesn't care. He plays chess one move at a time and doesn't care. That's very typical of the hard-lined religious nuts out there. They don't care if you believe what they believe because they are going to heaven and everyone else is going to hell. I'm with you....I don't let my kids watch much of the crap on TV today. Given the religious make up of our country it's not surprising that such a show could drive viewers. I grew up catholic and while I don't practice today, I carry over a mixture of solid beliefs to my kids. My son knows I don't support or believe in gay lifestyles but he also knows it's not in our values to take a hard-lined religious view and shun them or speak as Phil does. I also educate them on the impact of their words and their right and to realize there are impacts within society which go beyond rights. Re-read your last statement. That holds true for EVERYONE; including gays and people who don't hold the religious values that Phil does.
-
The reverse point is true as well. At what point do we tell people (lesbian/gays) that the opinion of the the majority (who for the sake of discussion let's say holds his viewpoint/hatred) over rules their choice of who they have sex with? Is it right for Phil's who claims to have a deeply religious faith and be such a bible follower to imply his faith is greater than what others choose? Who is the ultimate judge of his fellow man, God or him? WTF is with his arrogance to think he can go out in the national spotlight and use his clout/popularity to bash others? A&E doing what they did is ironically funny. They are using their power to fuck him right back. I would imagine it doesn't feel to good. Perhaps he is thinking about how the shoe fits when it's on the other foot. In the end, he doesn't exactly strike me as the type of guy/belief that I would want my kids watching.
-
I'll stand corrected...but the intent of my comments about brand was referencing the show and show related stuff. I forgot the duck call sales, etc.
-
I'm not implying they do. My comments are about their reaction in the press and some of what I've seen of others reacting. They don't have to conform but to do what he did and then act shocked as if the constitution or their faith is going to shield them from the rest of the worlds reactions is a bit short sighted don't you think?
-
I agree. He probably doesn't care. The fact that he/they are likely in the midst of their oh-shit moment about who owns their brand is my point. He didn't likely think his statements through. Should this crash and burn his show, the brand isn't likely to have much value left beyond some residual fans.
