  1. ^^ yeah, the media and people who are hell-bent on calling anyone not black white. problem is he's hispanic. that's because the media and all the trayvon supporters are trying to make it seem that way. he wasn't a victim. he should have either ran or called the cops. instead he called his girlfriend and didn't run.
  2. Good on the innocent vote. Z wasn't guilty of anything but defending himself and the nieghborhood. Has nothing to do with the 2nd ammendment. It's his right to defend himself. If the prosecution was hoping for manslaughter at the worse, then they should have found evidence of provocation. They didn't. because at the end of the day the general population may feel Zimmerman is a fucking bastard that is tired of the bad guys winning but Trayvon was no fucking angel and the world knows it. About fucking time the bad guys take one in the ass in the public eye. Trayvon should have kept running instead of trying to be all bad-ass. Darwin scores again.
  3. So my father who is downsizing and now down here in Columbus gave me the keys to some cars and to my surprise a truck that he owns to sell. I drove this Ford F150 down from Cleveland thinking we might just keep it and drive it to Virginia Beach and keep it at some property we have there. It's no Jaguar like Clay's vacation mobile, but hey, it's family and in great shape. My wife wasn't real pleased with us keeping a truck so to appease her I Cleaned it up and put it on Craig's List. Crazy shit, a guy emails me and says he'll take it, has cash and didn't really bitch about my price. I cleaned it up this morning, waited around and the guy calls and says he's lives on my street! WTF? Really? Sure enough, cash in hand, my nieghbor is adding to his collection of work trucks. Here's a shot of his old and new rides. How fucking small can the world be http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/151298443/original.jpg I'm actually going to miss driving this thing. Felt like a BEAST compared to my MS3 or even the Fusion. Meh....wouldn't fit in my garage in Virginia anyway. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/151298441/original.jpg
  4. From what I've read, yes, but I'd still do it. "Likewise borrowed from the C6.R are the scoops on the rear haunches. Each is functional and feeds a cooler, for the transmission on the driver side and for the differential on the passenger's (Z51 only) with hot air released through vents outboard of the taillights and diffuser in the rear"
  5. Just found this.....IMO looks WAY better than the new design. http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Nolstagic-Tail-Light-Kit-Corvette-C7.jpg
  6. IMO the C7 would look great in Black or Gray http://www.egmcartech.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/2014-Chevrolet-Corvette-Stingray-C7-Front-7-8-Left-Close-Up.jpg
  7. doesn't it end early today?
  8. perhaps but look at the upside... The C7 isn't as sexy as it could be Your car and mods cost less Your car is / will be even more unique You have a blower

  10. It's worth the drive. I go in from Dublin and will continue to follow Derek where ever he works. Good people. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/sackrider.gif
  11. ^^ My vote. Would look nice on your car. Black on black. Do it with the drop or hide it in a garage until you do. Fuck brakes. They only slow you down.
  12. I'm 43. He's likely fine. Especially if he's an IT guru kinda guy. :gabe:
  13. ^^ This. It's the best thing IMO. No fleas in the yard and no fleas on your pets. Having very short haired dogs helps us but the Brindle makes finding fleas a nightmare thus we check the black/white one most often as a test case. Knock on wood, never had them and don't want them. I just had a second application of bug stuff applied this week too as with all the rain shit is bound to explode out of the ground. Meh...you'll be fine. Just keep it away from the food as best you can. Besides, you likely eat a shit-ton of chemicals in food you don't grow so the little bit more that you get in your yard isn't what you should be fearing. ^^ this too. Have used Revolution for years. I buy it from a place in Australia that ships to the US and it's like $12mo for two 70+lb dogs. Worth the savings if you can wait the 7-10 days to get it. I buy 12mos at a time and there's no need to present and Rx for the Heartworm either. Some vets here make you do that.
  14. How old is he? The BS Debate on pleats has gone on for years. In the end, they aren't going anywhere and will continue to carry the stigma in the eyes of younger people. They are typically associated with more formal or "dress" style but we all know that's not necessarily true. Personal taste really. I tend to mix up things. I wear some pleated dress pants but then $150-200 dress pant combined with a matching quality shirt and jacket where appropriate and pants will always look nice pleats or not. Today it's nice, blue sky, Friday and thus it's flat-front biz casual pants and an untucked silk shirt. Fuck, on Fridays in this place, it's not about the guys, it's the woman that class the place up Keep in mind it's also not what you wear it's how you manage and are seen by others in the work place. Well dressed shitty manages or pricks are still just that. The cool-kids know how to hang with bosses that are worth being around.
  15. I disagree. There's a place for them. Flat front are more stylish for younger trimmer guys but if you put a guy who isn't in shape in a pair of each, the pleats will feel more comfortable and tend to look better. Your opinion may differ but look around the office. Nothing looks more dumb than a pudgy guy trying to wear athletic cut shirts or a contoured, flat-front pants. ^^ Bill, look at them again and see if any of them below 15% body fat. Not likely. They are most likely no longer athletic in appearance. Flats are making a comeback and pushing pleats aside for many, but not all. Taylors will fit you in either but body type will be a part of determining which you should where in many cases too.
  16. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/151273661/original.jpg my 10 yr old son photo-chopped the color for you. not great but hey, he's 10
  17. Haven't installed or used one like this but we do have a rainfall unit in our master bath and really enjoy it. A temp readout would be cool to have for the kids.
  18. Did they really want to kill the car are or they just really that dumb? Sad thing is latter is likely the case....and these people are actually allowed to raise children.
  19. ^^ Dude if anyone working for me wears hair like that, I'm going to tell him to write them up and tell them to go back to the 5th grade. Get fucking haircut. :gtfo:
  20. remember, this is CR, where we all bang super models and drive six figure cars.
  21. Hell, I'm surprised it took this long..........
  22. Our dog Patches Approves http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/142785799/medium.jpg
  23. Meh...kinda typical plain. Mix it up. Colors, textures, etc....
  24. Mix it up. Summer, you'll have biz casual flat front wool/lined pants, some silk pants, dress jeans or cotton pants for Fridays. If you wear it Mon-Thurs. pant will likely be dry clean only. Wash at home stuff is for Friday. I even throw in some linen casual with a very nice silk shirt and casual shoes on Fridays, especially when it's hot. Key is to dress your age. That's not just a woman thing. Depending on your office environment you'll have some shirts you leave untucked some won't. Just make sure you buy shirts that are meant to be left untucked if you do. I think every guy has done this
