I'm not familiar with Nikon offerings but have you looked at the 50-150mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM APO Lens for Nikon F ? $1,100 that gets you a nice fast lens good for portraits. Doesn't have the reach you want but worth looking into. 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO OS HSM for Nikon is another decent option for $1,300. Hate to sound like a broken record, but you need to bite the bullet and get a fast lens so you can enjoy all it can bring you.

Romney's being pretty up front and real that there isn't a four year fix to the mess. Obama hasn't done anything but drive us deeper in and his plans to spend our way out or toss money at things from the pockets of those keeping this country going isn't the solution. His idea of bringing back a middle class is to redefine the middle class by taking from those that have and giving it to those that don't and calling what's left in the middle the middle class. :dumb:

He has a much better track record of getting shit done that Obama. Not to mention what Obama wants going forward is to essentially take more of what I have to give to everyone else.

I hate to say it but according to CR it looks like if Obama does win he will do so not because they should but rather because the writing in population allowed them to succeed. I hope that's not the case. IMO that guy and his policies need to go. I don't know either, but it does make sense to me. IMO the guy changing lanes didn't have control of the right lane and didn't insure proper clearance of the other vehicle who was clear and making a legal right turn? Awaiting one of CR's LEO' to chime in.

I suppose but don't know. Based on the language used by others above, IMO the car turning had control of that lane as it was clear, there no threats in that lane heading towards him, he was clearly 1/2 way into his turn and the other car very clearly didn't pay attention that the lane they were looking to move into was not clear and had a vehicle in the path they were looking to move into. I've seen simliar accidents where someone was turning right and a car traveling in the same direction moved right and misjudged the car turning's speed and thus crushed their ass end. How's that any different other than the rear passenger quarter panel was hit vs the front drivers quarter panel? Either way there was a vehicle in control of a lane and in the midst of a turn in the path of the one changing lanes. I've not yet gotten a call from anyone on the matter so I don't know what happened.

You'd be surprised. Depends on the bank. With the uptick in the market for existing homes, there's been a step up in the process as there's a window to sell so many are moving much faster than one year ago when some banks just let the owners walk and never even began the process because in the end the house was not likely to sell. I don't either, but in rare cases I have empathy when people they are trying to do the right thing, not walking way from a house, keeping the lines of communication with the banker open, walking through the systems in place and then something like this happens.

That's how I see it. The guy who changed lanes didn't allow for proper clearance of a vehicle who had already entered a clear lane. I know it's against the law the change lanes in an intersection but am not sure what the rules are in front of a drive where the vehicle is clear in mid turn. The guy turning didn't turn in front of anyone, his lane was clear. Yes, I'll be happy to sign an affidavit for the guy too. Sucks as it was pretty much a brand new car. The fucker who hit him didn't even ask if everyone is okay. I just snapped at them and said "not that you seem to give a shit about the guy you just hit, but he's not dead" I sometimes really hate people.

if the banks are on it and many are today, they can have you completely out in 7-8 months. Bottom line is if your bank is willing to set up a program for you, there's little sense to make any further payments until that agreement is reached as the payment would just be you pissing away interest. My wife's done this for 18yrs, I'm familiar with the process and what the expectations are.

Not true. Typically banks will begin proceedings at six months. Their case is Activin the bankruptcy system iif you care to look up also.
